I usually order wings here, I love them. Downside, I work late and although they close at 10PM they don’t answer their phone after 9PM it seems from the last 2 times I tried to call.. so I often have to go elsewhere to get my wings. It would be wise to always answer the phone when the phone rings within business hours. It only takes 15-20 minutes to make wings. You keep losing my business by not answering!Update: apparently they now close at 8:30PM according to the rude man that answered the phone at 8:25PM when I called..
Ordered a pepperoni party tray with extra sauce last weekend...2nd worst pizza I've ever had. The first worst was the one I ordered from here before this one. Shame on me for giving them another chance. Pizza was thin, hard and dried out like it had been sitting on top of the pizza oven since the day before, basically inedible. Not sure what's going on with this place, but they used to be awesome, a pizza powerhouse of Welland, that I ordered from regularly. I'll never be back.
Top 3 pizza in all Niagara region. Welland pizza is just on another level. I regularly drive from st Kitts for a superior pizza!!
We used to be loyal fans to Volcano. The tray pizzas were the best and well made...however, the quality has gone downhill fast. Not only have the last 2 $50 orders been burnt, the pizza was so hard and dry it wasn't eaten and the veggies were old and cracked. The boss was rude with the employees and training staff. I felt bad for them while picking up my order. Unfortunately, we will not be ordering here anymore. I don't know what has changed but the quality of food and service has suffered.
My family has been buying pizza and wings here since the 1970s. The pizza and wings have always been consistent throughout the years. If you haven't ordered here before, ask them what their pizza style is like because if you are expecting some sort of run-of-the-mill mega-chain pizza experience you will not get it here. Pizza crust is not thick and doughy but delightful, thin and chewy/crispy. If you like thin pizza crust no one else beats this place. If you don't like thin pizza then don't complain just because it is their style. Having been to Italy a few times I have enjoyed pizza like this over there and it is highly desired. Personally I love this place. Wings and sauce are fantastic and every bite of their pizza is heavenly. We have always come here for the food and not necessarily for friendly banter. Personally we find the people and service perfectly fine. I see some people have complained about the folks on the phone being curt but they are a busy place, taking lots of orders so they don't have time for silly chitter-chatter. They have to be efficient and communicate clearly and crisply because it is a small business so keep that in mind please. Also, this place stylistically hasn't changed in decades so don't expect a white-washed pristine looking place inside. They sell great food which is mainly takeout so why invest in the interior. At least that's my take because most people could care less because it's about the food man. My grandparents used to live a few blocks away and we often got pizza from here growing up. Now we come from out of town because there is simply no pizza place in our town that comes anywhere close to the quality, flavour and delightful eating experience of this places pizza and wings. And their subs are good too! Highly recommended!!!
Literally the most scrumptious, mouth watering, delicious pizza in the entire World. Consistently outstanding. Wings are fantastic as well. We love the food here so much we drive 35 minutes out of town to get it on a regular basis. Thank you!
this place is a jokeI received a pizza like this opened on my porchThey have no means whatsoever of Covid protocol let alone standard protocol, no use of TEMPER PROOF STICKERS WHATSOEVER.I am disgusted…. And will be sending this story to the Public Health board of Ontario and I’m sure this we’ll be dealt with in the right manner.
If I could give them a -1 I would; this is by far the worst pizza I have ever paid for. You can see through the pizza it's so thin and dry. I called to complain, and the girl on the other end just said, "Oh well thats how we make it". Don't waste your money
First of I have to say that I've been buying my pizza and wings here for years and always enjoyed them. I've even overlooked their continuing exaggerated claims of their "Jumbo Wings". Trust me, if they are using jumbo wings then I'm the Queen of England. Now, back to the reason I'm writing this review. The last three combo specials I've picked up have been horrendous. The one pizza crust was so bad it crumbled just like a cracker while trying to eat it. In over sixty years of eating pizza I've never had a crust fall apart like that. The other two were equally as bad with lack of sauce, toppings and proper baking. The one had a crust so thin I couldn't pick it up, had to eat it with a fork. Also, one of the orders was to included 20 wings, that when counted ended up being only 13, with none of them being jumbo by the way. When I called to complain I was asked "are you sure". After assuring him I was able to count to 13 he begrudgingly offered to deliver 7 wings to me. After talking to friends (who always ordered the same combo as myself) I found they had the same complaints and had moved on to a new pizzeria. I guess I'll be doing the same thing as their quality and mostly the consistency is no longer offered and I'm not willing to spend my money to find out if they've improved. This review has been offered with no embellishment and has been given honestly.
As usual it's the best pizza in town. Made to order ,just the way I like it.
