I’m really not one to write reviews but I feel I need to advocate for people with Celiac disease. We specifically went to Vegan Hippy Chick because of the wide variety of dishes that can be made Gluten free. My 8 year old daughter has Celiac disease so we find it hard to dine in restaurants given the risk of contamination in kitchens. She got really excited and wanted to order mozzarella sticks that had the gluten free option beside it on the menu. I assumed that being a Vegan restaurant this place knew a lot about food and food preparation so I almost didn’t ask whether they cook all their fried foods in the same fryer. Good thing I did because unfortunately they don’t have a separate fryer for things they make gluten free which totally defeats the point of being gluten free with Celiac Disease. My daughter was disappointed but she is used to not being able to order what she wants because of her disease. I am happy to say she ordered the gluten free Mac and cheese and loved it! They do cook their gluten free pasta separately from The regular pasta. Maybe the owners can read this review and buy another fryer specifically for their gluten free products??
Delicious food an explosion of flavors in your mouth. That was my experience. Friendly service and clean restaurant. Will definitely be coming back for more!
Nothing but good things to say about this place. Shared a meal today on Easter Sunday. The food was excellent, the host was friendly and helpful and the atmosphere was second to none. Will definitely be back ! I'll be waiting for the mushroom reuben ? and don't forget the love and compassion. God has definitely blessed this place and the people ✨? ❤️?
Having endless options for someone that has to eat gluten/vegan was incredible. I got the walnut and mushroom pizza, my partner got the fish and chips. Both were amazing, portions are big so can definitely get you at least 2 meals. Service was so friendly and fast. Will definitely be coming back

I've never had a bad meal yet. Always delicious! I will always choose to come back to the vhc and try new creations and the off the menu suggestions!
Absolutely loved everything we ordered! Great variety on the menu with large portions. Even my meat eating husband was surprised how tasty and filling the meal was. You can tell that the food was fresh and just prepared, not reheated. The space feels more like a high end bistro then a restaurant, which is so much better! I am so happy and grateful to have this amazing place so close to home and if you are in the area you should definitely give it a try!
I cant believe its not meat!. I just had a pizza and the chick'n wings.. and wow. It was so so so good; i am still surprised at how tasty it was. VHC will make it so much easier for me to cut my meat consumption. This is my new treat night place to go.
My daughter dropped by last night and brought me an order of “fish” tacos and a Caesar salad from Vegan Hippy Chick. Everything was amazing! I’d never had heart of palm as a fish substitute before and it was soooo good. You get three of them and the “fish” portions are huge! I highly recommend these. the salad was great as well1
ordered tonight and gotta say the food was delicious! Definitely will be repeat customers. Getting healthy and can't get over the healthy food dishes!
