Great front of house staff!! Very friendly and hard workers! Always pleasant even when line ups are around the building and out the door!! Zero negative about the baristas.Management obviously needs help - leaving their staff to be slammed every single day. Improve hour allocation or hire more! It’s busy every single time I visit, if the owners can’t provide good service and improve quality of life for staff (so they aren’t constantly drained) while making money in these conditions (even with the pandemic) then they need to go back to management school.Great service, wait times suck (not the baristas fault)
I just came from the drive thru and before the employee came to the window he pulled his mask down and blew his nose and without washing his hands he started touching everything, the till, cups, etc.. gross!Please have your employees wash their snot filled hands before serving customers or touching anything at all!
Crazy busy drive thru here. Nice for a treat however prices are high at any Starbucks and the dark roasts are usually overly bitter and they don't have to be if roasted property and kept fresh.
First time at this Starbucks. It was terrible.They had one guy on cash who had to stop taking orders because they were back logged. They had 2 people doing drive thru, one taking orders and the other putting them in the till.There was one lady, alone, handling making all of the drinks for the huge line-up.It took 20 minutes. The white hot chocolate was watery.Would not be back.
I come here often, and don't really have the time to review it. But a gesture like the cashier remembering my name, coming up to me to give me a free sandwich he accidentally made an extra of, made me compelled to pause my work, and write this. A little gesture goes a huge way, and Nathan (who I think is new) just made this Starbucks priceless.
The layout was quite confusing and I didn't see any signage for cash/ordering vs pickup which was slightly frustrating as I've never been to this location. The drinks were great and when my friend spilled his drink by accident the employee was literally happy to clean it up for us!
Daily This place has a longer line up then a Black Friday sale at Bestbuy .... if they were giving away electronics at half price I could understand but all you will get here is inconsistency in your drinks and prices ....at first I thought maybe they are all new maybe it’s going to take some time for a new location to train people but this has gone on long enough so either poor management or incompetent staff starts to become a question ... Going Niagara Falls Starbucks and back from welland is actually faster then the line ups at this place and you will get a drink that has consistency.
Went in bought 2 packs of coffee and 2 strong brew 1 specialty - 2 coffees poured 1 wrong Waited 25 min for 3rd coffee - both strong brew stone cold sitting on the counter for whole time. When complained got worst attitude ever. Never going back will drive the extra 15 min to St. Catherines where they have a personality.
Had a great visit to Starbucks Welland tonight! Galaxy and Jen were very friendly and helped recommend drinks for us. Our drinks were all made correct and quickly, and the dining room was clean and well organized. Overall a good time
If I'm paying $6 for a beverage, I prefer if it's less than 75% ice.
