LOVE this place . Super fresh creative menu,subtle tasty, mellow music, Benoit as a manager and sommelier is fantastic . Will definitely come back soon. Btw, as a foodie from Shenzhen and Hongkong .I am not easy to impressed.Highly recommend this restaurant.

Absolutely the best food that I've ever had. I've ordered the tasting menu twice and literally every course was so full of flavour. The food is complex and balanced where each ingredient is so deliberate in how it plays with the rest of the dish. I was in awe after each plate!The service is top notch too. The restaurant manages to strike a balance between upscale, warm and welcoming, without feeling pretentious. You gotta try this place, it's truly something special!
Wow! World-class gourmet food in Waterloo in an unfussy atmosphere!Benoit, the manager, bet us his tips that we'd find their tasting menu to be the best we've had in Canada. We were skeptical as we've had more expensive tasting menus elsewhere. But he was totally right, among the best meals we've had anywhere in the world! The service is impeccable yet the atmosphere is fun, comfortable and unfussy, a unique combination and a perfect fit for us. We'll be back on a regular basis.
Best dining experience I've had.The staff was very friendly, and approachable. The food was just as great as the service. The venison has to have been the best I've have ever eaten. It was so tender and juicy. I would recommend it to anyone. If you are looking for a true fine dining experience to visit Trio restaurant. You won't be disappointed.

Went tonight for my husbands birthday. Amazing! The people were so great and friendly, and it felt so down to earth. The food was amazing and everything about this place is 100/100% if not more. I cannot give enough credit for how everyone was tonight and how amazing they were. You got an amazing staff and incredible food.
Wonderful experience here tonight. Finally a fine dinning place in Waterloo. Didn’t disappoint. Everything was good and the wine paring was perfect.
Closed till Jan. 4 due to a COVID outbreak in the restaurant - get tested if you ate here in the past few weeks.I only found out about the outbreak through their voicemail since phone numbers were not recorded for contact tracing, while symptomatic individuals (coughing) were also allowed into the restaurant in the weeks prior. The food is good but not worth the huge risks to patron safety.Edit: Clearly there are things left to be desired with how you managed this pandemic - are you even aware that patrons have been infected at your location? Considering that the staff tested positive on Saturday I’m disappointed that we STILL have not been contacted.
