Truly disappointed. For the amount of marketing around gluten-free options on this menu, I was surprised when there were no GF wraps or GF sandwiches (1/2 of their menu). I ordered a Bangkok salad with falafel and the 5 falafel that were on top of this salad were rock ice cold and didn’t realize until we were driving away. I couldn’t put my fork in it, that’s how frozen they were. I actually had to take the falafel home and heat them up in an air fryer. I can’t believe I paid for this.
We ordered a full salad and a bowl, the bowl was missing the dressing. The salad had way too much red onion and they were huge chunks so the onion was super overpowering , had to pick them out. Was my first visit back after not going for about 3 years and the quality seems to have gone down while the prices have gone way up.
Very disappointing. Ordered two bowls for pick up and when I arrived at the appropriate time and still waited for 15 minutes. Then the staff told me they gave my order to a delivery driver by mistake. They said I would have to wait 15 minutes for the driver to come back with my food. I asked for a refund because they were busy and I didn’t want to wait longer and as this happened the driver returned. They took the food from her and handed it right back to me. During a global pandemic?! The food had been taken away for who knows how long and opened by somebody already! They offered to remake them but since I had already been waiting inside for 35 minutes but I just wanted a refund. He refunded me the wrong amount but I did not even bother asking again because it seemed like the two working were new or did not know what they were doing. I normally love this place and I never write bad reviews but this experience was insane. I am not trying to be rude but I have never had a food service experience like this before.
We have been loyal customers (generally order once or twice a month). Today we ordered 2 salads and two quesadillas for lunch. Missing avocado in both salads (this has happened before), half portions quesadillas. When I spoke with the restaurant manager, she offered to check our order next time but no compensation at all. Very disappointed in the lack of customer service.
I've come to love this place! I've found my favourite wrap but even more than that I've found 2 other items that you wouldn't necessarily think of that are fantastic. They carry this chocolate zucchini bread that is SO moist and delicious you can't stop at just one piece, so bonus!! You can actually buy a whole loaf if you ask?. Turns out it is vegan and gluten free and literally the best out family has found (gluten/non-gluten, dairy/non-dairy) anywhere. And not super sweet. The other are these amazing icecream sandwiches made by Four All Icecream. Oh. My. Gosh! Not normally an icecream gal/family but we can't visit this shop without buying a few. Everything is scratch made and high quality, the cookie is sweet/salty and stays together with enough chew to make the whole experience memorable and not messy in your hands. Mm....now I've gotta go get some of these things!
Food was ready withinminutes of our order. Quesadilla was hot and tasty, was satisfied with the quantity.
It's not good. The owner is rude and I would not support someone who talks so poorly, openly
Had the spicy chicken sandwich! Was fresh and delicious. Will definitely be back.
Exotic salad and Exotic water that I like from chopped leaf . I really live far away from my family and I love to eat healthy food chopped fulfilled my need during entire pandemic time . They are very happy people every time I go they always smile and they have always treated me in such a nice way I cannot even explain that customer service in words . Beware! It's very addictive. I haven't had one bad lunch at The Chopped Leaf Waterloo. (I've ordered MANY salads)I order online & "ta da" its always on the counter waiting for me.The ingredients are so fresh & the dressings are to die for. The green goddess is amazing (my favorite) .
