When you arrive at a place for supper and have to wait in line for a table, you suspect that the food has to be pretty good. Fortunately we didn't have to wait too long and we were certainly not disappointed with the food!We started out with an guacamole dip appetizer that was delicious. Then we shared a main dish of "double meat" cochinita enchiladas, featuring 3 enchiladas stuffed with pulled smoked pork and covered with Mexican sauce, onions, cheese, sour cream and steak strips, and washed down with a Corona beer for me and a Jarritos lime drink for my wife. The enchiladas are not very large but there were 3 of them and they were accompanied by rice, beans, potato, and salad.Service was friendly, timely, and attentive.Give them a try!
Best mexican food out there!!! Great family owned business where everyone is involved. They take pride in everything they serve and care for their customers. Everything on the menu I've tried over the past few years has been top notch. Do yourself a favor and give these guys a shot! You won't be disappointed!!!!
As a Mexican, I was very happy to find a place in Waterloo where I could have authentic Mexican food with my friends! All the dishes were very tasty and brought me back home.My only complaint is that the food is quite expensive, but I guess it's fair considering that it's one of the few places where you get the real thing and not tex-mex food.Will definitely return in the future!
Great restaurant - friendly staff, delicious food. Tacos al pastor were perfect. Margaritas are nicely made too (not the frozen slush)! Looking forward to going back.

Looks like a family run restaurant…but the food is definitely recommended. They serve with love and very close to actual street Mexican food. They revised the prices recently so expect 25-30$ per person bills. I loved their enchiladas and they rarely serve the onion hot sauce which is amazing ?
