Rude staff!I was excited to come here because I heard the pearls were great, but I was disappointed with the experience overall. The person taking my order was rude and couldn’t answer any of my questions. None of the employees knew what was in the crunchy topping, not even allergens!There was no customization even though on the menu and several other spots it said you could adjust your ice and sweetness level.The boba was tasty and the restaurant was clean. Regardless, I won’t be coming again.
Absolutely darling place and exceptionally friendly staff.Offered recommendations and was quickly served.The tea was perfectly brewed and sweetened to order.Great place to grab a drink on a date and walk around Waterloo park and surrounding area (or grab a bite to eat).

love this store!! a shoutout to the kind old man running the store, he's always so cheery and sweet with the customers! the drinks are quick and always taste PERFECT!! gets a little busy at lunch time on weekdays, so go before or after so you don't have to wait in line!
Hated the customer service. The staff responded rudely when I was placing my order. Would definitely recommend other bubble tea places over this.
It's such a shame that I must give it a low rating even though the Alley is normally one of the best BBT chains. For some reason this locations just hire the most incompetent employees.Also, if you're running out of stuff every single day, it's no longer "we ran out today", it's "we don't wanna serve customers".
After coming here from another city to have the famous Deerioca tea we love, my wife and I had one of the worst and most rude treatments possible from their staff. Not even slightly close to the service we were once used to. Kindness is far from existing here. Not recommended.
Such big fans of the alley normally but my husband and I just had a really awful experience. The lady behind the counter barked at us that they were sold out of deerioca (the reason we came). Outages happen, but when we asked her to repeat herself, because we couldn't understand what she had said she very aggressively snapped at us that they were out. Very disappointing to have such poor service. Will not be returning.

The service is quick even during peak hours, staff is very friendly as well.The place has a nice vibe too.
