Always very clean and tidy. A great selection of products. The staff has been very helpful, from the Bakery staff who took time to look for a special item for me. To the front end staff!
One of the Decent, well prepped and nice staff. Especially the HMR hot section. I recently bought rotisserie chicken which was very delicious. The staff were friendly especially the young ones.
Definitely one of the nicer sobeys that I have ever been to into. The place is very spacious, although I do find it odd that the regular shelf space seems to be on the other far side of the store so I had to go looking for it a little bit. I guess they really wanted to showcase their fresh fruits and vegetables and organics. Which makes sense, now that I think of it.Prices are good but a tad on the higher side in general, although you can find excellent deals here and there if you look closely. I picked up some hand sanitizers for 90 cents - 90% off! The regular priced items are a tad high though.Plenty of parking and friendly staff!
I had an awful experience this morning dealing with cashier named Barbara. Her lane was open so I went and loaded all my groceries, but she kept talking with her colleagues although there were alot of stuff on the conveyor waiting. When she bagged my stuff, I asked her to put non meat items to my other bag but she kept putting my veggies into the meat bag. I reminded her to use my other bag, to which she replied sarcastically, "I know! Did you want to pack?" that is rude, a terrible thing to say to a customer and completely unprofessional. I hope she stops there and never does that to other customers. She was rude, unprofessional, untrustworthy, and give me a sense that she didn't want to be there.
One, where the h-e- double hockey sticks is the coffee crisp coffee mate cream?! It's been months since I've seen it on your shelves and I'm considering dropping sobeys completely because of this and this next reason. Sobeys charges more money then most places but turn off music and lights during the day to save money? I pay more for more. You're not no frills.
When I was entering the store, the person bringing in carts accused me of being a thief because I turned around at the gate to grab a cart. Without hesitation they started getting angry with me and made me feel really uncomfortable. I tried to do some shopping in the store but decided to leave and go elsewhere.
Often hit up this Sobeys for lunch or to grab groceries on my way home from work. Always clean and the Always have enough tills open to make the lines move quickly.
Great place too shop at and the staff is very helpful. It's a little pricey but do have good deals weekly
Got some flowers for a good friend of mine and they were gorgeous! Small balloon was priced well and I was able to wrap it up with the usual outer type bag. Very happy with my purchase. Employee was very nice!
What exactly is going on today???? No meat at all. Half the store had no products at all main enterence is full of waste and no carts. Other sections have screens pulled down infront of them. Went to get supplies for family dinner. Nothing, no broccoli, no chicken, no meat at all! No flyer on the door to state what is going on with our local grocery store.Incredibly disappointing... A little communication with your local community would be fantastic. Something as simple as a note on the door for the people of the neighbourhood that use your store daily, weekly, monthly and yearly would be awful kind...Shame.
