Our crew decided to stop at The Red House for dinner. Arriving at about 7:30, the hostess didn’t talk to us till about 7:50, though we were seated soon after, despite not having a reservation. The restaurant was very loud, but the decor was nice. It appeared to be very understaffed. The food, which took a long (though not insane) time to arrive was pretty good, though not consistently fantastic. The Caesar salad and curry of the day (beef with yellow curry) were really good, red pepper soup and kids pasta were fairly tasty, but the seafood pappardelle was disappointing, being dry. The ice cream that came with the kids meal was served half melted, but tasted fine. We left at 9:00. Overall, The Red House is good, and we would recommend, though expect a slow evening especially if ordering appetizers and deserts.

Had higher expectations of this place but the food wasn’t outstanding. The shrimp and meat balls were really unique and had an Asian twist. However, small portion size. The Cornish hen was pretty dry, and not outstanding in taste. The lamb spaghetti was really good, would recommend. It’s a nice local vibe but on the pricier side for what you get.

Lovely and elegant place, always full and lively. The food is great and innovative. After tasting most of the menu in my experience the best starter is the Chef’s soup, the best entree is the Lamb Spaghetti, and the best dessert is Duo of Chocolate.

I got the lamb spaghetti! It was really solid, I liked the emoki mushrooms on it, it was an interesting twist. We shared the pork and shrimp meatballs, I liked those as well. Though, the Cornish Hen wasn’t anything spectacular, it was decent.

Excellent culinary plating, adept chef who makes excellent suggestions to wait staff who all have good things to say about the options. Definitely would eat here again. Not even your typical fine dining where you’re concerned about leaving hungry the portions were perfect!

Curry bowl was decent, but I’d say didn’t live up to the hype. Definitely skip the roti

Overall there are unique foods that are carefully designed, and I really enjoyed some of the tastes. Not the most delicious restaurant to visit from my point of view, but it worth you to give a try if you want different tastes comparing to other restaurants. (personally I suggests the ribs as entree and lemon meringue pie as dessert)

Impressive place for a nice night out. The food was fantastic and nicely presented. The soup options on the day we visited were coconut Thai soup (spicy) and chickpea soup (mild). For mains, we had the lamb spaghetti and the Lebanese Cornish hen. Both were great. The cornish hen is a breaded cutlet rather than a whole (or half) bird. The spinach and beet salad was quite tasty and the portion size was big. We had the cardamom cheesecake which was beautifully presented and delicious. I highly recommend this place. Parking was difficult to find. We ended up parking at the LCBO and then walking to the restaurant.

We’ve been eyeing this place for quite some time now and I’m really happy we got to go! Food was delicious - my fiancé got the Beef’n’Blue and I got the house special for the night which was Thai-styled ribs with sticky rice. Our server was really knowledgeable and I think the prices are pretty fair/affordable considering the quality of food you’re getting. The only thing that I didn’t like was that the tables were really close to one another so it lacked intimacy and felt awkward that we could hear each other’s conversations… but from a business standpoint, I completely understand - trying to utilize the space as best as possible and get as many people seated!

Incredible food! My fiancé and I came here tonight for our one year engagement anniversary, and we were not disappointed. The service, food, and drinks were all top notch! We had a great time. The only minor thing if note that wasn’t amazing was how cramped it felt inside, but considering how in demand they are, it’s hard to blame them as a business decision. We recommend it.
