Third time finding hair in our food. Really unacceptable. I want to like this place because I love Vietnamese food but the service, quality and cleanliness is all on the decline. Try Pho Da Bo downtown Kitchener for a more authentic Vietnamese experience.
A good place for affordable Vietnamese food! I like their Pho and my friend had their rice dish. The food came out pretty fast. There is a lot of seating and their menu has a lot of stuff on it!
My fav place for pho in town. Was their customer when they were in the old location on King St. in Kitchener in 90's.
The prices are fair average with this day and age. The chicken was dry and the beef noodle soup tasted a bit spoiled as I had a stomach ache the same night. Probably would not come here again for pho.
Service was quick even though the waitress seemed very unenthusiastic.Got 101, the pho classic and it was a large portion. Wish they gave hoisin and sriracha bottles insteads of small plates of sauce. The pho itself tasted good though and came with plenty of bean sprouts.
The stars just for wide sitting space, clean windows and wide varieties on the menu.Service was poor first off all, very obvious they are not trained properly.The food was ok, we got tomyum soup and shrimp fried rice. The soup was 7/10, and the fried rice was very disappointing because rice was undercooked, barely any shrimp, just bits and some pieces of squid.Had to ask to change a set of cutlery because it has stains, plates were chipped.Price was ok, quality and service not good.
this use to be my favorite place to eat however over the last year or so the quality of the food has dramatically gotten worse especially if your are picking up for take out. Examples include undercooked rice or its very dry, overcooked vegetables in stir fries, missing condiments even when requested. One time a ordered i cashew chicken and they missed the rice altogether. The micro salad they add on the plate is often past due and has started to rot. Its gotten to the point that the lunch group at work have taken Ben Thanh of the list. Too bad i really used to like it there.
Ordered the chilli salt chicken wings and the free rum butter chicken, and the chicken in both of the dishes were still raw (The meat was still kinda transparent and red inside). We let the server know and they said they were gonna cook new ones for us again. The free run butter chicken come again and the chicken looks like it was just recooked and boiled and was super dry and the rice is cold.
I would like to share my very disappointing take out experience that I had last night (April 19, 2022). I had ordered sticky rice and as you can see by the picture attached, I could have played hockey with the rice puck. I also ordered the deep fried Vietnamese spring rolls and as you can see by my picture, the spring roll had melted through the Styrofoam container which is not edible as vomiting, nausea, headaches and diarrhoea are among the side effects of eating food products in slightly melted syrofoam.. I also ordered the green Curry vermicelli dish and the noodles were in one big clump. I used to love this restaurant but I will not be returning again.
I love going to this place - they’re super fast, and the food is good. People are complaining about service - but honestly, for how fast they usually are that doesn’t really matter, I’ve never really had a bad service experience here.Only comment would be cleanliness - they aren’t terrible, it doesn’t stop me from going, but I think there could be improvements.
