Just had dinner with the family and had a great experience. Sam, who greeted us, was super friendly. Aaron, our server, was attentive and friendly as well. I was celebrating something a little uncommon and everyone was good natured about it. The food was amazing as always, and I will definitely be back. Also, their cheesecake is phenomenal.
This place has a great ambience! The staff here is very friendly and accommodating. They have good options for food and even better options for drinks!I have tried a few cocktails here and all of them have been on point. My go to option here is the coconut calamari, it is really good. The shrimp is pretty good too. They had a few new options this time and I'd definitely like to give those a go next time around!We had the Portobello Mushroom Chicken & Baja Fish Tacos for the main and both tasted great! For the drinks, we ordered Bramble On and Passion Fruit Mule and they were tasty and refreshing!The price is a bit high but the quality of food makes it worth it. I would definitely recommend this place!
Absolutely love this place each time we go here! They have the perfect ambience, lovely staff, great cocktail options, great tasting food!The staff is always very accommodating of our special requests, be it adding another Taco to the plate or substituting mashed potatoes instead of spaghettini in the Main.Portobello Mushroom Chicken & Coconut Calamari are my go-to favourites. For the main, I always ask the server to switch the spaghettini with mashed potatoes instead because the Mashed potatoes with mushroom sauce tastes bomb??Also ordered the Baja Fish Tacos which is were SOOO good! They were so refreshing. They have some really interesting cocktails so we end up trying a new one each time!The place is a bit high-end but definitely worth every penny. If you are celebrating something, the server gets you a dessert of your choice on the house which is a lovely gesture.Definitely recommend this place!
Update: the general manager sent me a letter and a gift card apologizing for the experience. I appreciated that so much!I was served rotten potatoes twice tonight. I showed our very lovely waitress that my potatoes were black inside and she was appalled. She talked to her manager who personally brought me out replacement potatoes, also rotten ? The manager didn't take any responsibility and only apologized for "the delay". The delay in what? More rotten food? Thanks! Oh and to remedy the second serving of rotten potatoes? I got $6 off my meal. I feel so special... would recommend you take your business somewhere else.
Went out as a family to celebrate a milestone birthday, and the service and food was just perfect! Can't thank our waiter and the young lady in training enough but 'Thank you both!" It was wonderful, thoughtful service, they brought the kids' food out early as they were hungry, and so the atomosphere was relaxing and enjoyable for all. Everyone raved about their meals and even the kids said it deserved 5 stars.T(hank you too for slipping the birthday person a piece of cheesecake to enjoy later.) As they say, "We'll be back!" Kim D.
I know what you're thinking, what warrants a 5 star rating for a casual dine-in restaurant? Aaron does! We were seated at the bar because we had no reservations. The bartender Aaron served us that evening. Despite a full house and drink orders pouring in, he made sure we got exceptional service. From making excellent recommendations to ensuring we got our food and drinks in a timely fashion. He was just the right amount of polite, friendly, and attentive without hovering. Even though he was very busy, he didn't make us feel rushed. If you go there, sit at the bar and hopefully you get to be served by Aaron!The food was good.
Ordered sweet chilli chicken bowl and Parmesan chicken. Chicken was cooked so beautifully, it was crispy and yet juicy. Portion size as usual was enough for a full meal. Both dishes were absolutely delicious. Staff was polite and attentive. Overall good place to spend a romantic evening as well as casual one.
If you want your green beans cooked ask for well done beans, otherwise they will be raw.
Best meal my girlfriend and I have had in as long as we can remember! We went for New Years Eve dinner and Aaron took our service to another level. He suggested the prime rib special as well as the grilled strip loin which were both perfectly cooked and so tasty. He also recommended the lobster bisque and the white chocolate cheesecake which were both delicious. Attentive service without interrupting the dinner. Would recommended to anyone and definitely be back soon!
