This is literally one of the best Chinese food places in KW area, went there last week for take-out. The food was more like a fusion style Chinese food, yummy and delectable! The place was also clean and tidy, the owner was welcoming.Overall really good experience, will definitely come back again.

The couple that own this place are super nice. went back in 2018, and now in 2022. Still the same good food, and same good people. what else can you ask for in a local spot?

Chicken balls were the size of a quarter. Chicken fried rice was orange rice with no chicken. Then the pepper steak had maybe 8 pieces of steak we ended up throwing it all out. Now I know why it wasn't busy on New year's Eve. Worst I've ever had.

This is my first visit to this place and very disappointed. I ordered a plate of chicken fried rice. When I got home and opened the container there was no chicken in it. I phoned the owner and complained about this. He started swearing and cursing on the phone. I will never go back there

The server was a very nice, kind and cheerful guy. I bought sweet chicken and shrimp, it was very nice! But it was a bit too sweet. ???

First time we ordered from Lin Garden in Waterloo and it was a big mistake!!!Lin Garden is like the McDonalds of Chinese restaurants, but we would have been way better off going to McDonalds. The soup was like water and had no taste to it. Way over priced for basically hot water. The egg roles were doughy but not really edible. My combo meal was basically instant rice out of the package, mixed with green peppers and a few slices of meat. Not very tasty, way too much green peppers which wasnt in the description and not much food for the price. My wife's meal combo contained a large amount of broccoli. It wasnt cook , and she was unable to eat her meal. Her watery veg chicken soup went down the toilet. The dry noodles for the soup were stale, the first time we ever had stale noodles at a chinese restaurant in over 30 years.I wouldnt ever go back to this place, even if it were for free.

The person serving was really nice and helpful. Love the vegan/vegetarian options.

I get take out from here at least once a month and have always enjoyed the food. I find many of the other Chinese places around the city have bland, tasteless food, but at Lin's everything has lots of flavour. The food is fresh and the prices good. They're always super friendly and helpful. They are right across the street from a high school and the place is always packed with students at lunch. If teenagers keep coming back - then you know it's got to be good!

This is me and my family's second time ordering from Lin's Garden and we're so content with the quality, flavour and affordability of the food! The manager, Peter is one of the friendliest people I've ever met, and went out of his way to get us a meal just past closing time. Highly recommend!
