Group of 4 seated immediately on a Friday evening.The half fried chicken and half seasoned was excellent. The rice cake sticks were a nice touch.We ordered the cheese corn as a tasty side dish. The sweet corn and melted cheese topping was served on a hot plate.If you like heat, the tteokbokki and Kim's seaweed rolls were also very good.
Went there today and loved the food! It was very yummy! The portion sizes good for the price and would definitely come again. Be mindful for dine in guest that this is a small restaurant and there are limited seating available.
I got half-half choice, incredible and spicy green onion chicken. Not only chicken but also corn cheese is fantastic! I will definitely order again

I am here often. Been coming by since Kim’s opened many years ago. Food has never let me down. Always hit the spot and fulfilled my cravings. I can’t say enough great things about this spot. Went here for dinner on a Saturday night. This place is small so you will be lucky to get a table to eat in, but if you do it's a treat! The staff are super nice and on top of service. We ordered the Half-Half choice and picked Seasoned and Incredible. Both types were extremely delicious. The seasoned is sweet and savoury while the incredible is creamy and savoury. If I had to pick one, it would be the incredible, but both were great. The incredible does come spicy by default but if you don't like that you can ask them to remove the green chilies from the top which will drastically decrease the heat level.We also had the Corn Cheese and it was to die for! Super sweet corn and salty cheese makes for an amazing combo. A must try!

Always tasty Korean food. The chicken and tteokbokki (both tteokbokki dishes) are absolutely delicious! The veggie dumplings are really good too.
Top tier Korean fried chicken! Love KFC (with Seoul ?❤️), was in BC a few weeks ago and had my fiancé try KFC for the first time and she loved it. The first place we ordered from when we got back into KW was Kim’s, and it didn’t disappoint! The chicken is super crunchy and tasty as heck, the dipping sauce is ?? and the picked white radish makes everything pop. I’ll be picking up a bottle of Soju to go with the next time we order….which will probably be today ?. If you want amazing fried chicken that is super tasty and fresh, while also not just being “chicken nuggets and fries”, order from here. The options cover meals for 1 or family combos etc, and there is enough variety to choose something different for the style and flavours of chicken. If you’re on the fence, stop it. This place is prize winning chicken, do yourself a favour and order now.
Saw great reviews at this place and decided take out of seasoned chicken and tteokboki. I’m not sure why it taste too sweet and not well balanced flavour. I had sweet and spicy type of flavour before but this one is just way too sweet. I feel like I’m eating candied chicken. Tteokboki was off. Dry and not fresh. it’s not freshly cooked because it’s a bit hard to eat and so stale. I guess having it for dine in they would definitely serve you with freshly cooked food but take out is a disappointment. Also, the portion is quite small describing on their menu it’s good for 2-3 people. Not even close. Way overpriced for Korean chicken only. Good for people who liked it but for us, we won’t try it again.
