Incredibly delicious. Great atmosphere. Wonderful attentive service. Wide variety for everyone. Relaxed enjoyable evening. Highly recommend.
Dined in for dinner last night to celebrate a family member’s graduation. I am the only vegan out of my family and our server Ramona was very accommodating and willing to find out if certain dishes/sauces on the menu were vegan or could be made vegan for me. Everyone at our table really appreciated Ramona’s service, she was super on top of things, very helpful, attentive and lovely. The rest of our table thoroughly enjoyed the selection of very fresh sashimi, rolls, and grilled meats. The only reason I am taking a star away is for their time limit and how they tried to charge $5 for an 8 month old baby that didn’t even eat anything other than a bit of avocado. An hour and a half is a bit tight for all you can eat and when you’re there to celebrate a special occasion.
Food was absolutely amazing. Top notch sushi, fresh and delicious. Servers were very lovely and we had an overall good experience. That being said, we waited SO long for our items to come out and had extra items come out even after we said for them to cancel them (as a result of the wait times). Our takoyaki was the first item we ordered and was the last item we received (3 sheets of paper later). This happened with a couple of other hot items and really ruined the experience for us. 3/5 stars. If you want good sushi and are willing to sacrifice experience, I’d say Jinzakaya is the spot.
They’ll kick you out before you can finish. We are fine with the time limit that’s totally fine. But some dishes took forever to arrive after desserts were served. Working on service level is probably a better idea than rushing customers out. Or at least allow customers to decide how much tips they want to pay for the service instead of charging 15% on all bills. They definitely don’t deserve that today.
The sashimi is very creamy, and the sushi is also tasty. Deep fried mars bar is recommended as well. However, whatever you do, do not order the mango cream cheese sushi
Phenomenal service!!!! Just WOW!! Delicious All-You-Can-Eat, LOVE the fresh fruit slushies! Complete accommodation for my dairy & gluten allergy. Separate menu ordering form where they crossed out any items that may have cross contamination (love that!) Suggestions of items that are a must try! If I ordered items by accident that were not in my safe list, she made sure to cross it off for me & tell me. Complete confidence in our server looking out for our needs. Such great sushi & service ❤️
My absolute favorite AYCE sushi place in Waterloo. Twin to the also excellent Kitchener location. Friendly staff, great atmosphere and of course excellent sushi.
The salmon sashimi is top notch and their eel sushi is divine! Everything comes very quickly and service is friendly. Came here twice for a birthday and an anniversary. Both times were honestly amazing! Can’t wait to come by again. Dinner menu includes a lot of premium items compared to their lunch menu so highly recommend coming in the evening.
Definitely become our go-to sushi place. Staff are very friendly and food comes out super quickly. Ingredients are always top quality. Best place to get salmon sashimi for sure!
