Ordered a Birthday cake for my son in law and was disappointed with the outcome. So blah.
This Dairy Queen is located conveniently near Conestoga Mall and many other stores I visit frequently. When I arrived the parking lot was fairly crowded, especially because the weather was warm, but there are plenty of nearby parking lots to sit and eat your food in. The drive-thru layout is not very convenient, to say the least. Most of the drive-thru lane is set on an incline, which makes waiting in line a little uncomfortable, especially if you drive a manual vehicle. The wait time was longer than I would typically expect, but the staff members working at the time were friendly and professional so I didn't mind too much.
Fantastic Ice cream and burgers. Drive-thru is fast even with a big line up.
Tried one of the new summer drinks & it tasted great! Spent about $6 or $7 total on 2 large drinks, pretty content with that pricing!
We got a medium Skor blizzard, the portion size was pretty big, it had a decent amount of Skor and the blizzard part was creamy. We got our blizzard pretty fast, within 5 minutes even though it was super busy inside.
Best DQ in the tri-cities! Having worked at 2 DQs in the past I can say this with 100% conviction :) They did a stellar job on a custom cake too
Quick and friendly service, and the best strawberry banana smoothie I've ever had. Definitely coming back here everytime.
My boyfriend and I came for dinner on January 29 of 2022. The wait for someone to take our order was around 8 minutes. When we got to the window we waited 10 minutes for someone to let us pay. After we paid, the two young girls working the window forgot to add our coupons. After another 13 minutes we finally got our food. All we ordered was a poutine & a chicken strip basket. There was one car in front of us that ordered a blizzard. When we got our food it was thrown into the bag and everything was spilt out. The two young girls walked away without saying have a good night or asking if we needed anything else. They forgot our drinks, our sauces, and utensils. After waiting ANOTHER 5 minutes they finally came back and gave us the drinks after giggling and chatting at the till. Customer service was terrible. Food was cold and stale. Do not recommend this place for food.
Great coupons. Got a box of Dilly Bars for 99 cents after buying a box at regular price... Great Deal!
Hey, it's not gourmet but it's better than McDs or BK. Wayyyyyy better. And a plus, there are no lineups at the drive through. If you need to eat fast food, it's a nice change of pace to get something different than the usuals.Staff at this location are funny and have a good sense of humour.
