I personally found this place pretty underwhelming. There are very limited selections available for drinks and the ones we were interested in, they didn’t even have. They made a good grilled cheese, though.Their tables have buzzers to tell the staff you need something, which is great in concept, but then our server seemed incredibly irritated when we called her over. I found the staff to be pretty condescending, which isn’t great when you’re trying to learn a new game (which, by the way, isn’t easy when their games are missing the instructions booklet). The games we chose looked dirty and beat up.Overall, I think there are better boardgame places, but this will get the job done.
was impressed with the attentive staff!! Great coffee!!
I can tell that a lot of effort was put into creating a safe and clean Cafe to protect each guest, while maintaining the fun atmosphere. I was impressed with the attentive staff. They were enthusiastic about the games we picked and it was fun to talk about the games with them. I have been to quite a few board game cafes, and I'm usually not too impressed by their coffee menu. But Crossroads has unique coffee options that I have yet to see anywhere else. So if you want Tiramisu iced coffee, this is the place. The game selection had a good mix of party games and more challenging games. I look forward to coming back!
The staff were phenomenal - super friendly and warm. They were the best part of my time at Crossroads and that alone makes me want to come back here more often! The atmosphere & vibes were on point for a board game cafe; loved the touches of anime and comics all around. The drinks we got were delicious and crafted with finesse. Finally, the cost of playing and dining in was 100% worth the quality of the experience we received. Thank you, Crossroads! We'll be sure to return, no doubt about it.
Amazing service (super friendly staff), great game selection. Good food ?. Would recommend!!! Great for dates, or just as a hang out with friends.
Fun place! It was only $6 a person for a wide range of games.Only issue with the games was that there was a monopoly game that had like two versions mixed into the same box. Also they had a few games that I really wanted to play but weren’t available because they were in “quarantine”.The drink was fine, very minty but nothing special, a little watered down taste.
There are many things to love about Crossroads Board Cafe and a few warnings to keep in mind. The most important thing is the Board Games. They have a good variety of games and a great space to play them in. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable about games. The cafe was taking good steps to deal with COVID. I hosted a group of 5 people to play D&D here and it was a great space for it. As a place to play games it is my favorite so far.As a restaurant it's not that great. The drinks I ordered were all great and their shakes and smoothies are good. The sandwich I ordered was really disappointing and I won't be ordering hot food there again. It sounded good on the menu, but what I received was of lower quality than I could have made at home with what is in my fridge at cost $11.The other challenge is the location on the second floor with no elevator which means they location is not accessible at all to those with mobility issues. Thankfully the store clearly notes this fact on their website, but it does mean I can't invite certain of my friends because this is an insurmountable obstacle.
Service was good, felt very clean and covid safe, food was affordable (probably since you're already paying to play). We had the waffle which was lovely. A decent selection of games, not exceptional but enough to try quite a few and have fun. We will be back!
Great atmosphere. Affordable food and only $6 entry for games. Had a wonderful time and will be back. Very covid safe environment
Great service!
