The new location is great. They have many tasty dishes. The jarred items at checkout are a great idea -- grab soup or curry for a future meal while you're picking up the current takeout or finishing your dine-in.
Great fresh food as well as wonderful looking pre made meals and sauces. Very friendly customer service too! Thanks for the grub ??
We ordered a few dosas and a spiced mango juice. All of them were authentic, delicious and the ambience was very good! They also have a lot of curries that you can take home and make yourself to save time. The items were a bit pricey for our budget but we had a great experience! Will come again!
Super friendly staff, Great prices, and AMAZING FOOD!!! (The Chicken Tikka Masala/Butter Chicken was out of this world, and the Onion Bhajias was a flavour explosion ?) Also love the take out packaging - all either reusable, recyclable, or compostable ? Also picked up some soups and sauces, for which they have a jar return policy (winwin-win) Highly recommend this place!!!
We had gone to Classic Indian on Wissler Rd for many years. This new location is larger, brighter and better and the food is still great. They have prepared takeout food but they also offer jars of their fare to take home for later. They have soups and prepared dishes in jars as well. They also offer sauces so you can create your own at home. We were met with helpful, friendly staff and will certainly be back. If you like Indian food, it's a no-brainer.
So, we were two people went to try food at this restaurant. Did not like the food nor the quality and presentation is not upto the standard. Needs to work on their recipes rather than details on menu. Food was not worth of its price.Ambience is really good and restaurant is clean.
Food can be very inconsistent but is typically good. Unfortunately, service is rarely up to par. This was our go to spot for take out Indian food until we have had many bad experiences. After ordering hours ahead of time and having our orders confirmed by the restaurant, we have had to wait over 30 minutes on many occasions. This has happened three times now. Each time they have confirmed our order an hour or more ahead of time and still have not been able to complete our order close to the scheduled time. Our last order, we ended up cancelling after waiting in person for over 45 minutes without an end in sight. I do understand that restaurants get busy and cannot fulfill orders on time occasionally. However, they should not have confirmed our orders if they could not deliver as promised. Instead of waiting 30-60 minutes in person, notifying customers of later order completion is much more appropriate for everyone. Unfortunately, we will not be returning. We were understanding the first time but after three times this is clearly a pattern.We have since then received the free meal offered by the restaurant.
I am from Toronto and order Indian food for my high end clients 3 or 4 times a week. I can honestly say that this is the best Indian food I have ever had. It will become a regular drive from Toronto to get it! Awesome, Awesome, Awsome! Great service as well
We placed an order for take out Wednesday Dec 29th and while the food was delicious - we did not get our entire order. We got two chicken dishes when one of our mains should have been a lamb dish. We live quite a distance so it wasn't feasible to go back to change it out. I have emailed the restaurant - but still have not heard back. The food always is great - but you pay a lot more for lamb than chicken. Disappointed.
