Perfect food ever! We ordered the pork chop, pad Thai and the duck one, those are very tasty! It also have the best pina colada in town. Although the red curry is little spicy for us. The serve is great too. Overall it’s a nice restaurant and we will definitely go back soon!

Large menu and friendly staff and atmosphere. The food experience was somewhat mixed. Nam khao was tasty, pork skewers were pretty good, but the crispy chicken stir fry was more of a takeout experience. Serving sizes are large but the service itself was slow. 3.5 stars, worth a try for the hard-to-find Laotian menu variety.
Amazing!! I ordered from this place on Uber before but I really recommend the in-person experience. We had pad kee mao, larb, and the Indonesian fried rice.Pad kee mao — vegetables were tender-crisp and noodles were perfectly done. I asked for this to be extra spicy and it was pretty good. We were even offered more hot sauce after ?Larb — yum! Chicken heart is delicious but they also offer this dish with just chicken breast as well.Indonesian fried rice — I didn’t try this one but it looked delicious and my friends really liked it! It came with satay and peanut sauce, and smelled really good.Service was so friendly as well! I want to come eat here every day!!
Love that there's an authentic Laotian restaurant in Waterloo! Definitely enjoyed our meal here and the owners are amazing. We stumbled by this restaurant literally looking for pad thai and I saw that they had Laotian sausages which are my favourite!! And they make it well! All the food had a lot of flavour and were all big portions. Can't wait to come back and try more dishes like their coconut rice, larb and sakoo yat sai!
Got takeout with a large group. The food was pretty good, but nothing really stood out to me. The food was a little cold when it got here but other than that, it was enjoyable!
First time trying at Champa Kitchen (Thai, Laos, Vietnamese food), I loved it. I definitely come back to try more dishes. This restaurant is located on King St. close to Waterloo town square ION station.
Two dining experienced so far and all we can say is that you have to go to try this incredible food! My wife and I dine out a fair bit locally and abroad and as such we have come to know where the best places are for different types of cuisine. Champa beats our top two Thai favorite places by a surprising margin. You have to try thier hand made sausage with signature home made hot sauce (they sell both to take home with you to cook at home) The crispy duck, the crispy chicken, the mango salad all so fresh and all so filled with layers of flavors. If this if what Thai - Lao - Vietnamese cooking is like, give us more of these places in Kitchener Waterloo.
My wife and I enjoyed lunch here on my birthday. The restaurant was a nice family run place, and satisfied my craving for some new flavours and textures!I took some recommendations from our friendly server, the chef's husband. I started with the mango rolls - these were nice to start, as they fruit provided some lightness, but with the meat inside and peanut sauce, they were still hearty enough. I went with Larb Moo as my main, taking the server's recommendation of chicken/chicken heart as my protein. (It is also available with beef or pork.) The larb was spicy and flavourful. There was some in house made chili paste that I enjoyed with my rice.I finished with a warm pudding style Lao inspired dessert which hit the spot - it reminded me of the flavours I enjoy with the type of pudding style dessert I'd be served for a birthday at my Bengali parents' house, but this Lao dessert had a totally different texture and consistency. It's nice to be exposed to some new flavours and textures, and I'd love to come back to try more of the menu.
