I recently visited Waterloo and stopped by this A&W restaurant. By far, the best service I have received at any A&W in Ontario or western Canada. Staff seemed well trained, professional and courteous. Restaurant looked sparkling clean. I hope other locations can take some inspiration and step up their game. Definitely coming back here next time I am in Waterloo. Thumbs up.
I had my first dine in A and W at erbsville branch!..I just want to thank for their extraordinary service. The girl who took my order was GARIMA! She’s a polite and kind girl who did a favour my allowing to dine-in when they are about to close. Since I had a longggg day it meant really meaningful for me! Sometimes a small act beyond rules will also attract customers in a profitable way! By the way food is good.
The onion rings here were delicious. Thank you to the manager Harkamal for assisting me with my order. Always reliable and fresh food! Will be back!
These are not the cheapest burgers in town, and I expect better quality. Seems to be understaffed, and my walk-in order of poutine was forgotten and I had a long wait for this. Fries in another order were cold and stale. We have had stale food from this location before.
Awesome poutine (I ordered a second) and best coffee (I took it with double cream). Clean washrooms and a family friendly open sink. Great choice of music that includes French, I appreciate the nod to the great culture that is missing in Ontario a bit too much.
I ordered from here for the 1st time through Uber. Never again. I ordered a mama Burger with added bacon and extra onion and extra of the sauce that already comes on the mama Burger and I get it and it has weird sauce I've never seen before on it. Looked like cheese sauce but I am not sure(I don't like cheese on my burgers or cheese sauce). I wouldn't eat so my daughter said she would try it. She let me know the patty tasted "off". I look and it's still pink. Never will we go here or order from here again.
Went to this location a few days ago and would like to recommend to everyone. Not only the food was fresh and perfect but also super fast service. Great management and great team!
The food is usually quite good, but what leaves a real bad taste is when the drinks are super low on the syrup. The past 3 times I've been here my drink has tasted like water with a mild colour to it when it should of been iced tea. Today it was almost completely clear, showing me its probably been almost out since I went last which was roughly 5 days ago.
Summary - Hire some locals or someone who knows the culture. Students must be supervised for good.I visited this place today, and here are my observations. I walked in to buy food with my family. We are a great fan of beyond meat burgers and onion rings. I ordered four burgers, onion rings, poutine. (Made two orders). I interacted with someone at the front, and I guess she is a store manager(at least from her attitude)1. She doesn't know to welcome customers. At least fake the smile.2. She doesn't have time to listen.3. She got into an argument as we complained about the onion rings being too salty. After listening to me first, she quickly went to the kitchen and ordered the same without extra seasoning, where I wanted to cancel this order. Other customers also requested her to listen to me first before jumping to conclusions. I tried calling her multiple times, but she kept on asking me to wait rudely. Besides this, She did not offer me a refund or apologize.I would highly request you to hire someone local and bring some diversity. Hire professionals too. I recommend you enroll your staff in some certifications related to customer communication, how to handle culture shock.I am reporting this to your corporate office.
Wait at drive through was decent. The woman at the drive through giving the food the other day was kind of rude as she really did not acknowledge me. No: hello, thank you, you're welcome, have a nice day, enjoy nothing lol
