Updates are below!Dont go here. This shop runs a scam! There was no menu available after the thunderstorm on Sat, 21 May 2022.Was charged 18.74 for wedges and beef donar and a can of Pepsi. The cashier didn't check the item but charged. There was less than 30 Grams of Beef Donar but full of wedges! When asked for breakdown costs, she failed to explain it at all.They run a dishonest business, all the reviews are true. This place should be closed down.Update 2- After the review the owner requested to email them. They never replied the email I have sent and later deleted their reply on Google Maps. I have spoken to someone regarding this place, they had similar experience. They have also mentioned the positive reviews are paid or done by the employees and their families.Update: - The claimed owner hasn't replied the email yet after they have requested to contact!
Food is good but one lady in the staff was extremely rude. When we asked her to give us a bottle of pepsi instead of a can; she rolled her eyes as if she is so irritated by the work she is doing. We asked for tissue twice but she wasn’t paying attention. Actually she was checking out the dress of another customer I suppose while rest of the staff was busy entertaining them. When I started struggling to find the tissue by myself, she told me that I should have asked her for tissue. I told her that I asked you twice but I found tissues on display and I tried to take it out. Again, we received a roll of eye with utmost rudeness. Just quit the job if you don’t like it lady but as I told her there and then, you do not treat your customers rudely.
Horrible place. Never ever going again. The lady at the Counter was extremely rude. Food was not served properly and was in a complete mess. In fact it was not even tasty. Complete waste of money.
PLEASE, I BEG YOU DO NOT EAT HERE. The bad reviews are REAL! Experienced the worse case of food poisoning causing bloody stools. Management must do something because I would never want this to happen to anyone, especially a child. Ordered combo 1 platter on Monday and spent the following day morning til night with horrendous stomach pain, in the washroom with bloody diarrhea, nearly about to faint. THE ENTIRE DAY. I wish I had read the negative reviews before ordering to avoid this situation. It if doesn’t get better today I’ll have to go to the doctors/hospital.
The lady at the counter was extremely rude. I should have read the reviews earlier. There’s a fine line between being rude and being funny. The management needs to step up and put their foot down. The meat was pretty dry too. The only reason I came was because I wanted halal food. Never coming back again.
Yesterday was my first time trying the food at their Vaughan mills location and I must say I didn’t even get enough food in the container. The picture they had at displays was completely opposite of what I got. Rice, 2 Salads, potatoes and 4 balls of falafel. Tiny bit of each salad and 1 spoon of rice - really?? This was first time in a while where the portion was so little that I had to get a burger to fill myself. Never again!
I will never buy from here again until they upgrade their service. Hopefully people read reviews before buying. I use to enjoy buying from this villa madina but it looks as if new management has taken over. The food is served very poorly. The portions are so small for the price that you pay.You get a choice of 2 salads but yet looks like 1. The chicken shawarma is very dry.The food doesn't have much of a great taste like it once did. Something differently needs to change.
I read the reviews for this location of Villa Madina and could have heeded the many warning signs but, chose to experience it for myself. All the negative reviews are correct. The staff is incredibly rude, they do not care about their roles, the food is cooked with ZERO love and for the money spent, you’re far better off going with Tim Hortons. Yes. Eat breakfast for lunch and lunch for dinner if you have to. The location at Yorkdale mall is like the good angel and these guys are spawn of the you-know-what. This chicken is dry. You can see that it is dry. It is so dehydrated the skin is hardening red before the stages of becoming burnt black. My potato was undercooked as well as with a rotting spot. The only thing acceptable in this meal was the taboulli and vine leaves which were subpar at best. Don’t eat here. I will return with a photo of the glistening food at Yorkdale so you can see the difference.
The place serves best shawarma plates and roll. The food is so delicious and fresh every time I go. Specially Anmol, she always makes everyone feel at home and greets with a smile. ?
This place is only alive coz halal option. Worst taste. Portion are so tiny for price. Potato not cooked. Advise, if you are constipated go here. No need to buy laxatives.
