Was my very first (and last) time ordering anything from here. I decided to go with the ginger beef. What I actually received could be called, Charred and Burnt, Blackened Beef. I was starving and tried a few pieces, It had a strong burnt and sooty flavour, but at the same time was extremely sweet. How any chef would think this is acceptable to serve and pass standards is mind boggling.
My wife and I love this place. All the food is very flavourful, has some good heat, and is generally delicious. We generally get various mains with some veggies and rice. There is one server in particular that we get very often and he is so friendly, funny ND helpful. In terms of the negatives, I would say it's not really so much authentic Chinese, but if you're not going for that then it's not really an issue. Also, since we usually stick to the Chinese mains, I couldn't really comment on the other food they have like sushi. The food is a little expensive too, though the portion sizes are very good.Overall, a great place to eat!
Review based on Takeout!First time ordering from here. We were very unimpressed. Firstly, the General Tso's came burnt. So burnt we could smell it and it was black all over. They forgot part of our order and we couldn't get through on the phone to them to let them know so that sucked. All the food was completely under-seasoned! We are not picky, in fact we like bland food, however they needed to add salt to their soup and other food! Could not believe how much the food lacked taste. They don't even properly season their fried rice as half the bucket was still white rice. To top that off, we all got sick from their food within a couple hours. So will def be passing.
The sit down restaurant is not bad but the take out is so bad they charged us for 5 spicy mayo and only gave us 3 also they give very small containers and don't even fill it half way. When I call and tell them that they didn't put me spicy mayo and charged me for it they put the phone down and listen at all until I hang up
Ordered in direct from them and they said it would be over an hour for delivery - I'm just outside of their delivery area. Came hot and and 20 minutes earlier. I love their General Tsao chicken without spice, and they'll customize just about any dish - I'm not fond of mushrooms and they were left out of all my dishes. I find their food super tasty and portions are quite large! Enough food for 4-6 people under $70. Good value, good food.
I know it's not a big secret that they're one of my favorite restaurant, but it’s always refreshing to set foot into the establishment and see what goes into making their food taste so good. My personal favorite is their orange chicken - it has this sweet and tangy flavor that just makes you want more.
Nice environment. Pricey menu. A small bowl of rice is $3. Disappointed in the price.
Visited twice once for dine in and second time for pick up. Service was slow both times. I do however love their Spicy Peanut chicken so I will suffer the poor service for a delicious treat.Dine in, waited a long time to have my order taken and once the food arrived I never saw the server again until it was time to pay the billTake out, ordered through the website. Said my food would be ready in 30 min, arrived on time and had to wait an additional 20 min but was served hot and ready.
Pretty good restaurant. Mostly westernized Chinese menu with some other Japanese options. Decent flavours for food and nice interior decor.
Terribly disorganized. Ordered online, Showed up at exact pick up time, only to have to wait an additional 30 minutes to pick up. Printed the receipt many times, yet no one filled the order. Everyone else around me gets their food except me. Same exact cashier asked me 3 times what I’d like to order. Are you kidding me? We literally spoke a few mins apart. Finally get my order 30 mins later. Things missing. The “boss” came back with additional items. Not a single person even seem slightly apologetic for being super slow, sloppy and ridiculously late. Terrible experience.
