Sugarhill is a great dessert place with absolutely delicious dishes. I’ve been twice and both times the food was great (one time I got a Bananutella waffle, another time I got a cheese cake). The service was really great and the decor is Beautiful as well. My only complaint is it’s quite expensive ($18.50 for a waffle) but that’s to be expected at an upscale dessert place.
This place definitely satisfies my sweet tooth with their dessert options. Service is quick and they have a cat robot to delivery the food. Their Vietnamese iced coffee ice cream and cake is delicious.
Oh boy! How did we not try this place so far. We just wanted to have some desert after dinner yesterday and we stopped by here on the way home. Very clean place with great ambiance. Service was good. All the tables had glass separation. They also had a cute serving robot. Couldn’t get a pic with it. Coming to food we got a waffle with vanilla sky and a ferrero rocher milkshake. Both were amazing. Definitely gonna visit again to try out other items.
I’ve been here twice so far and I must say the service is impeccable. Very friendly and helpful staff BUT unfortunately the cheesecake I got was bland and the waffleI got which came in a gluten free option was bland as well. The fruits and sauces were good that were on it. The milkshakes we got were watered down. Hopefully they can improve on these things .
Nice, cozy and well lit place to get a sugar rush. Lots of room to sit inside and a private patio out back. Got a waffle and a crawffle both were amazing and well portioned. Owner was nice and came to our table to talk to us and gave us some samples of ice cream to try out. Highly recommend trying the saffron ice cream the flavors were amazing and very authentic. Will be visiting here often to try out the rest of their menu items.
The restaurant has an arrange of great dishes for your sweet tooth, they have options for a lot of dietary restrictions like lactose and vegan. (the list goes on).Good experience! worth the journey if you want to try something new!I love the interior of the restaurant. I like the calming colours and the seating area, they had 5 gender neutral washrooms!I noticed when I went in the evening there was no type of social distancing or barriers. I saw separate tables and parties sitting next to each other with very minimal protection. The restaurant also has the same prices as other dessert restaurants but I find that the portions were smaller than other small dessert restaurants. So be aware of that! The restaurant has an arrange of great dishes for your sweet tooth, they have options for a lot of dietary restrictions like lactose and vegan. (the list goes on).The wait staff were more than kind especially when they had more customers to serve, we were helped by a lady with black hair and she was very helpful.Although my friends and I ran into a problem with the cutlery, they were beyond dirty with dishwasher stains and other things. We asked her to bring us other ones and she kindly apologized although I think this should not happen because it can be a safety and health hazard.I'd like to come back again and try it out, I feel like my experience was not so compensated as the dirt from the dishes were passed by from staff and forgotten about!Overall a good experience! worth the journey!
An ideal spot if you’re craving some tasty dessert! The interior of this restaurant is so stunning & the owners are incredibly sweet (pun intended). They serve handcrafted dessert with house-made ice cream so everything tastes super fresh!! Sugarhill offers desserts for everyone to try, they have eggless, gluten-free and vegan options so it’s the perfect spot to satisfy your sweet tooth craving! From the menu we ordered the dalgona latte, nutty professor chocolate waffle, nutty rose waffle & the tiramisu cheesecake. We’re excited to go back and try more dessert menu items because everything was just that good!!
I personally got too used to Demetres in Woodbridge but Sugarhill Desserts is unique in its own ways.“Sweater Weather” was incredible. Their ice cream is known to be creamy/velvety which works perfectly well with a waffle dessert. The royal saffron ice cream along with the warm apple crumble was a great combination.Great service, from the store to our lovely note found in our takeout bag.
I chanced upon this place craving for chocolate fudge cake.It was very fresh and delicious.Though a bit pricey for takeout. It came to $11 for a slice. The ambiance is amazing. For a date or dessert night having cakes there will be worth the money.Nevertheless cakes are good quality
A little pricey.Feels like you're paying for the ice cream more than anything else. $17.50 for a waffle or crepe with MASSIVE scoop of ice cream, ~$6.00 for a hot chocolate or cappuccino, latte etc.Presentation is great, flavour is great, but I feel like the cost is a little steep.4 stars for: Staff, Taste, Presentation, Washroom Cleanliness, Shop Cleanliness and overall experience.
