Very unpleasant experience. Restaurant seemed to be very unorganized and understaffed. Out initial drink order came long after our appetizers arrived. Appetizers were incorrect and needed to be redone. Plates arrived dirty. Had to ask multiple times for cutlery. Appetizers were good once they arrived. Out main meals took forever to arrive and were ice cold when they did. This was at the 2 hour mark of us being there. The manager didnât come talk to us as requested. Someone from the corporate office did come over and apologized and offered to make it right but after 2 plus hours we didnât feel like waiting. We left without eating. Iâm sure once they get things sorted out it will be a good place to go as the food did look good. Just wasnât their night I guess
I wish I could rate higher, but due to the slow service and consistent let downs I can only give it two stars. Waited about 45 minutes to get my food. We started off with the Artichoke dip unfortunately it was pretty cold, maybe a handful of tortilla chips and a bland flavour overall… then I Got the Grilled Burger and was disappointed to see that it had a sliver of cheese and two completely dried out burger Patty’s. Although There fries and dill dip was super tasty!Final thoughts, if you don’t mind waiting a long time and looking for generally mediocre food this is the place. Not good but not terrible.
First time dinning at this restaurant. Staff was friendly and young, service was 6/10 it was Father’s Day and yes very busy but certain things really did bother me about my waiter. She/they placed the knife and forks directly on the dirty table with no napkins or anything. Also didn’t check up on us to the point where I had to order thru another waiter… lolFood was very good for the price point! Loved the flavours and speed that it came out. Shoutout the chefs .Location is great lots of parking and close to 400(HWY)The other customers seemed mid/upper class so it’s a safe environment for kids and date night!Would go back.
Menu selection and variety is amazing and everything tastes fantastic!We try something different every time we come.Drink selection is great too….cocktails have some different takes on classics which are super-tasty.Mother’s Day they offered free chocolate dipped strawberries and they weren’t even advertising it so that was a nice surprise when we came.Service has always been prompt and friendly.Patio is spacious and has great musicI recommend the fish tacos!
Awful. Food was terrible. Service was worse.Me and my spouse both ordered chicken club sandwiches. Which isint a club at all. It's a grilled chicken sandwich. My spouses had a hair in it and mine tasted literally like nothing. Had zero seasoning. Kids didn't eat there meals either. Tasted awful they said. Broccoli was burnt. Service wasn't much better. I thanked our server 9 times. I counted. And she didn't say your welcome one time. I had heard good things but our experience was not satisfactory at all. Spoke to the manager and she obviously did not care at all. Would never come back here again. Stay away from here. There is many better places
What an extraordinarily awesome experience! I was booking for my birthday dinner for a large group, and it was last minute. When I called, we were told that the restaurant would not have room for such a large group however if I was able to split up the group they could accommodate us. I was fine with splitting up the group (teens at one table, adults at another). The only catch was the tables would not be near each other. We said it was fine but when we arrived, George had a little birthday surprise for us and our tables were side by side! What a wonderful accommodation and the thoughtfulness and effort that went in to arranging for this was so appreciated! The food was exceptional and the wait staff were friendly, helpful and truly top class. Great experience through and through! Kudos to management for hiring such a top level team! State & Main will be a 'go-to' restaurant of ours. We highly recommend anyone who hasn't tried it not to hesitate!

We went on Valentine’s Day for dinner. The service was so extremely slow. Evelyn kept forgetting our requests, and needed to be repeated multiple times. Also the steak was way over cooked and when brought to attention, the replacement steak took so long that the remainder of our dinner was already done. The brownie was super hard and cold, however the bang bang shrimp was super amazing!
Food is good but takeout is so much smaller portion. The Flatbread is size of my hand. Disappointed.
