Haven't had Popeyes inawhile, now I remember why. Ordered the 3 piece chicken, the meat was very dry, I couldn't even finish one piece.
Chicken was dried out - I knew something was off as soon as I opened the container as the chicken was a dark brown color like it had been in the deep fryer way too long - and texture was similar to jerky and the batter was hard as a rock. I know this is not typical of Popeyes though but this location was really disappointing. Will not go back that that location unless they assure me it was an anomaly. Staff was really nice though.
I came here before it's supposed to close and they didn't have much left. The customers behind me also got upset
i came to Popeyes on Tuesday an my experience was really bad there was this tall manager with glasses an her name was tushwinder an she was really rude with me, i ordered 5 toonie Tuesday an i seen her packing my order an she gave me only 4 orders an when i told her i ordered 5 she made a big deal an said i only asked for 4 orders an not 5. the cashier came an helped an me an gave me my missing 2 pieces she was wearing a blue shirt an her hair was blonde she wasn't wearing a name tag but she was really nice an helped me with the order. i never experience anything like this from this location me an my family have been coming to this location ever since it opened. tushwinder is really rude an i would never come to that location knowing she's working there. i really appreciate the blonde girl for coming an helping me an being nice to me while the other girl was being rude. never coming to this location again rather go to the location near vaughan mills.
Just bought from this location, chicken does not taste good, like not freshly made. Very bad taste. So unfortunate I can’t drive back
Ordered 5 piece tenders last night, it was very dry to the point I couldn't even tear it apart. They were supposed to be spicy, but tasted overly salty, and over cooked to the point it was like shoe leather. Quality has gone down by a lot, only thing that still tastes good are the fries.
SO TODAY WAS EXHAUSTING WHOLE DAY FULL OF ERRANDS AND TO LAZY TO MAKE FOOD BUT we decided to order Popeyes and as we got home we noticed a suprise with the chicken they are the size of our fist think that's a good sign and now we're making Popeyes location our main locationHappy Holidays !!!
It's good when it's not salty and fresh. It's like Russian roulette..... The amount of salt last week on Dec. 6/21 (tender special) was enough to make my veins pulse(high blood pressure) even my friends who tried the chicken agreed. Don't know who is seasoning the chicken that day .... I definitely would avoid eating there on Monday...I think the chef should really be definitely retrained/fired.Customer service is better then most places but food is way too salty.
My brother and I grew up eating Popeyes from this location and it is the BEST. The service is quick, the staff is nice and the quality of the food is always on point. This is the best Popeyes to go to.
