Grew up eating at Pollo Loco and this spot will always be a favourite in Maple.1/4 chicken dinner. Potatoes and rice. Spicy sauce. Perfection.
Ordered the half chicken dinner and it was very good. The hot sauce has a great taste but is a bit mild. Price was reasonable as well. Would be a great Wonderland lunch.
This place is underrated!!! We found it when we ventured out of wonderland to look for cheaper foods, ran into this $11 chicken combo and OMG! It was the best Portuguese chicken we ever had. The sauce the owner uses is tangy and so flavourful, drizzled on top of the rice and potatoes and it is so GOOD. I went back to try their empanadas and they are amazing too! Friendly owner. Home cooking feel.

This place is hit or miss. The potatoes are sometimes re-deepfried and rotten inside?. The rice is sometimes stale and plastic in texture. However chicken is always good imo. The owner is cool but he recently got this big dude working the grill, and he comes off a bit unfriendly. The place is a dive, and needs a good cleaning. Other than that when the food is good it’s good ?
All throughout high school during lunch breaks my friends and I would grab a “cup” and it’s super affordable for students but tastes amazing. I graduated a few years ago but still come here often to grab a container. Absolutely love them.
The first time I went to this place, I loved it. It was tasty and healthy. However, yesterday was bad. I ordered the 1/4 grill combo with rice and potatoes. Waaay too salty and potatoes were dipped in oil. The spinach empanadas were also just average. It had quite a bitter taste. After my first visit, I was really looking forward to a repeat experience but I was super disappointed.
This place is GOATEDD, best chicken and rice place i have ever had, Pollo Loco has never disappointed me once!
Quality was never that high but at least the chicken taste decent. Last couple of times I went the chicken was absolutely horrible And the portions were comically small. The potatoes were burnt and the rice had a stale taste to them. The place is also very dirty and could use a cleaning. It looks like they’re letting this place go and the place looks like garbage and the food taste like garbage
Great service, delicious food. The sauce is magnifico! Def worth trying and recommending.
