Best pickle location I’ve ever been too and I’ve been to all of them. The food was amazing. They brought back a bunch of new/old menu items and even have a whole menu for vegans/gluten intolerant customers like myself! They have become so accommodating and our server Marcello was so amazing! From his welcoming greeting, to accommodating all my food requests, he was so kind and his service was really great! The manager Calvin came to check on us while we were eating as well and he too was very kind and wanted to make sure our experience was a great one, which it was obviously. Highly recommend this pickle location, everything about it was 10/10! If I could give 6 stars I would!!!
“Finally! A restaurant that serves amazing milk shakes!”Went out for dinner with my mom last week. We weren’t sure where to eat so we decided to go to the pickle barrel. Had Marcello as our awesome server.I am so satisfied and impressed with service and portion sizes! I was looking for a place that serves decent milk shakes for the past 3 months. I wasn’t expecting this, it’s like the size of a pitcher and it’s only $6Not only is the portion size huge and reasonably priced, but it’s also the best milkshake I’ve had.Also, all of the other food that we order was delicious and also had enormous portion sizes - we didn’t finish it all and it took us days to eat the take-away.It’s so nice to see a restaurant that is fair with their portion sizes post-Covid 19. They haven’t been stingy with the level of service that they provide to their customers and that’s a really nice quality to see.Definitely coming back and recommending others (thank you again for having amazing milkshakes!)
Service is good but menu has changed a lot. They removed what made Pickle Barrel unique and added Knockoff versions of popular things from other restaurants. Bring back the matzo ball soup and original menu please.I had the beet salad with chicken, it was good and filling. I’d still go here if I was in the mall and wanted a quiet place to get some work done while I ate. I find it’s not busy often.
Dropped by here for my wife's birthday. The Pickle Barrel used to be my wife's favourite before Covid. Now the menu is about 1/3 of the size it was before and many of the fav's of the past are gone. We started with the P.B. Famous Pan Nachos with beef and Guacamole. meat was a bit skimpy but good otherwise. I ordered the Crab & Shrimp Linguine - once again skimpy on the crab and shrimp and the sauce was a bit bland. My wife and daughter ordered the Smothered Chicken and were not that impressed - ok but not great. (used to be great) The kids meal was ok - Gooey Grilled Cheese with beefy fries (maybe we all should have ordered the kids meal and saved me $100. Too bad - used to be so good.
Awesome food and service
After a day of shopping at Vaughn Mills we decided to go here for dinner. My partner had come here in past years and it had always been good. This visit was inconsistent. Food was good and good value for money. Unfortunately, the service and atmosphere was an issue. Some sort of alarm was beeping throughout the meal which was annoying. No explanation or apologies from wait staff. Our waiter Mo A. Was friendly enough, but was slow to take our order and never checked in on us through the meal. I would have ordered a second drink, but never got the chance to. After what has been a long delay in returning to I person dining, this restaurant needs to be better if they want people to return. We like the Pickle Barrel m, but I’m not sure I will return to this location.
Loved my visit to location, Service was awesome and food was great. I suggest stopping by if your shopping at Vaughan Mills. Definitely will be going back in spring to check out the patio.
Lovely restaurant with large area of seating, andour waiter Mo was incredible ?Every drink, appetizer & main dish he suggested off the menu, we ordered and loved every single one of them! Thank you for the amazing suggestions Mo!We will definitely come back for another day of shopping with the ladies & dine at Pickle Barrel with Mo!
The food was good. I had the vegan burger. It tasted amazing but the burger was too small for the bun. Although, I would order it again. The service was decent. There were 4 of us and the first 2 appetizer (salads) came first then waited about 10 mins for the other 2 apps to come. When the main courses came they didn't clear our dishes until after they tried putting a few plates down. It was a little disorganized but..... The server was pleasant and very accommodating for allergies and making sure everything was good. They also got the order right and only put the vegan food In front of my girlfriend, who isnt vegan at all. Overall it was a positive experience and I would return if in the mood for that food. I do not eat at restaurants often.
My experience at Pickle Barrel was great! It was good service, very polite waiters and servers, and the food was served in a timely fashion. I appreciate their customer service and overall the restaurant was nice. I had the Fiesta Bowl with chicken and it was a great choice! Would definitely recommend to my friends and family :)
