If I could rate it more than 5 stars I would ! Absolutely great food, service and atmosphere. The food was steaming when it arrived, it was flavourful and just a taste of heaven. The atmosphere was cozy and upbeat and the service was fantastic! Thank You !TWO THUMBS UP??
An Absolutely Wonderful ExperienceWe chose La Perla Restaurant to celebrate our Wedding Anniversary. Upon arrival, we were greeted by Alex, our waiter, who acknowledged the occasion for our visit. He immediately returned to our table with 2 glasses of sparkling wine and offered his congratulations. Wow, what an amazing first impression!!! Being new to this restaurant, we were impressed with the wonderful seafood choices on the menu and we were overwhelmed. Alex understood and suggested that he have the chef prepare a delicious sampler arrangement of appetizer fish offerings. What arrived was excellence in seafood served on a wooden board. And that was just the beginning!!! Course after course, each food offering was amazingly prepared and presented. The service offered by Alex, Jacqueline and Cassandra was efficient, knowledgeable, and very friendly and welcoming. We particularly enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere; we were not rushed. By the end of the evening, we felt like we were longstanding, favorite patrons of this restaurant. This was our first visit but it won’t be our last. We will be coming back soon.Highly recommended.
We really wanted oysters . The prices were reasonable and the servings were large . Calamari was cooked to perfection, the oysters were very good and the fish was surprisingly aromatic and very enjoyable .Now to talk about the service. I was very impressed with our servers recommendations and her attentiveness. We actually forgot our cardigan at the table and they tried to contact us to let us no.Highly satisfied and would highly recommend.Can’t wait for our next date night
Went here for a friend’s birthday and the service was amazing, everyone was really helpful. They had a live saxophone player who also came over to play happy birthday which was cute. Got the calamari and lobster Mac and cheese which were both amazing! The sangria was super tasty too.
Came here for dinner to celebrate a couple birthdays a few days ago, ended up getting a bit late to our reservation but we let the restaurant know and they were able to easily accommodate us. We were seated in the wine cellar which was pretty cool. Our server Ethan was outstanding, he was very courteous, polite and had excellent knowledge of the menu! We got Calamari and shrimp, baked oysters and raw oysters to start. Calamari and shrimp were very good, cooked properly and crispy. Baked oysters were good too having them for the first time. The raw ones were delicious as well. Onto the mains we had the salmon, lobster mac and cheese, linguine and ossobuco. The salmon was great, it tasted like a home cooked meal and was very fresh. The lobster mac was rich and delicious, most other places the mac gets hard and the noodles arent seasoned properly. Different story at perla. It was creamy and seasoned properly. The fettuccine was cooked perfectly, the seafood was some of the best I've had, it was very fresh. The tomato sauce on the pasta was very well balanced and seasoned. The osobucco was tender and flavorful, the risotto was good, you can taste the saffron, it was a bit too salty but I didnt mind. As we were celebrating a couple birthdays Ethan brought us two different desserts, the cheesecake and the tiramisu, both of which were phenomenal. Will definitely be coming back as this is one of the best experiences I've had at a restaurant from both a food and service perspective.
Small quaint restaurant. Good food, good music w/ a Live Sax player. Now bring good company to enjoy the food. A bit pricey so don't be surprised. It's worth the date!
First let me say I wish I took more pictures of my meal but I was simply living in the moment and completely loving it. Came here for my birthday and my waiter Alex made it such a special occasion. He was very nice and attentive to the the table and always checked in at the right time. The owner is also fantastic. I love how he would check in as well as help staff. It’s overall such a friendly place and feels like home. The food was amazing and the portions were worth the price. I had a fantastic time thank you once again to the amazing staff and fantastic owner for making my special day even better.

What a great experience! Was greater by friendly staff, cozy intimate space with live music. They specialize in oysters which were very fresh! Here are some of the dishes I've tried, my new go to seafood joint in vaughan, thanks for the experience Perlas!
The absolute best pasta and seafood in GTA!!! Perla is my favourite place to dine for special occasions or just for date night. Live music every weekend and delectable food. Highly recommend the Lobster Linguini and Rockefeller Oysters. Amazing service. Waiter’s are so helpful and knowledgeable about the variety of dishes. Incredible ambiance. Can’t say enough good things about this place.
