I ordered a custom cake and custom cookies from Cocoa Berry for my baby shower this past weekend and I'm incredibly happy with how they turned out! The cake and cookie designs were exactly what I wanted. (The dinos, eggs and leaves in the picture I've attached to the review were from the shop, the blue onesies were made by a family member) Everything tasted incredible! The cake was super fresh and full of flavour and I had TONS of compliments on the cookies. This is my second time ordering from Cocoa Berry and I will definitely be back again in the future!
The best cupcakes, cakes, and cookies in the GTA. This is my go to spot for when I’m craving something sweet! The staff here are so polite and professional, and really make sure to go the extra mile to make your order perfect. Channel also specializes in custom cake orders as well. I visited this store a couple weeks ago at the Erin mills location and let me tell you it was the WORST experience of my life! People are not wrong when they tell you to read the reviews before! This owner “Channel” is absolutely a horrible and disgusting person to deal with! The amount of attitude she has when dealing with customers is super unprofessional! I don’t understand how a “business owner” can talk to people with so much attitude and sass. The fact that nothing is made from her is questionable! She buys all her cupcakes and cakes from a third party source and decorates it herself. I’ve read al the reviews and honestly this business should be closed! The responses she gives people who leaves reviews is DISGUSTING! I will warn all my family and friends to never shop from this horrible person!!!
It was my first time here today i went in the evening i bought the pink cotton candy and a slice of Tiramisu cheesecake Man oh Man it was so yummy. The two ladies working there were so friendly and they have amazing customer service skills very kind also. ❤️❤️ Thank you ladies once again.
Make sure you read all reviews before ordering, I sure wish I did.1 star is for convenience. I love the location, cute shop, enough on hand desserts to purchase when in a rush.1/2 star for average taste (cake was dry)1/2 star for executionUnfortunately, the majority of the stars were lost on customer service, taste and freshness of red velvet cake.Chanel quoted me $10-15 for the cake topper but when I came to pay for it I was charged $20. I didn’t want to get into it over $5 especially since I ordered last minute. When we picked up the cake it was taped to the top of the box without the sticks. Thank goodness we had cake pop sticks at home.The cake was very dry on the inside. I’m really concerned about the freshness of the ready made cakes. Please read the previous reviewer who found mold.As for the flavor it tasted like the boxed red velvet cake. The cream cheese icing was grainy (could’ve been due to too much sugar or being stale).I did call in with my concerns but the response was “you didn’t specify you wanted the cake topper on sticks.” They had both my telephone number and email and could’ve called to confirm.I can tell you don’t care much about customer service and professionalism by how you are responding to the previous reviewers.
Amazing! I ordered graduation cupcakes for my friend’s party, i had ordered red velvet cupcakes and chocolate cupcakes! Everyone loveddd them! As a person who isn’t even a fan of red velvet… I fell in love with red velvet. Love the store, and was very easy to communicate too! Will be ordering from here in the future too! Definitely place your orders for whatever occasion from here! Love love love ?
Amazing products. My daughters and I just visited the store and the treats do not disappoint. The Black Forest cake cupcake was indescribably good. The uniquely flavored macaroons are to love for. Thank you so much. Be back soon
This "channel" gyal needs to learn how to turn on & off her attitude. First day we walked into the shop she was giving attitude the minute we spoke to her, that was the first red flag. Second time we went back so we can place a order she was giving us the runaround, told us to give her 15 mins then we came back and she said come back in 5 more mins. That's when we stopped her and said no, she finally came over to us and said you need to email your order, she could've told us that the first time we came. We place the order by email couple days later she emailed back wanting to change the design of the cake, we said no. Days later we go to pick up the cake, she hands me the cake with it half opened (nothing covering it). She wanted me to walk out into the mall and outside with the cake in the open. We wanted her to put it in the proper box, she didn't want to do that. She starts acting smart with us and we weren't having that. She tells us we're not getting the cake and told us to leave (paid $200 IN FULL btw). Then she proceeds to call security for no absolute reason. She finally gives us the cake with a plastic over it (box is still open). In conclusion, she has poor customer service, I would not recommend ordering from this place EVER.
Purchased two slices of red velvet cake today. Looked really good but cake was VERY dry so I won’t be going back. However, the young girl who helped me was friendly and provided great customer service.
Terrible experience.This is what I bought today. I was told this is made today, totally fresh.The worst is I ate some and felt something, then I checked and found it already got moldy.
