BEWARE DELIVERY OPTION** See detailed experience below.Previous takeout experiences have always been 5/5. I've been a customer for many years, both indoor eating and takeout. However, a very disappointing situation occurred yesterday evening using the delivery option. Made the online order at 7:19pm stating the expected delivery timeframe would be 56 minutes. After an hour, at 8:13pm the online order status changed to complete despite us not receiving the delivery or contact from the restaurant. We called the restaurant at 8:35pm who gave us an update that the driver was still on their way. At 9:20pm we called again (they close at 9:30) and were again informed the driver was still on their way. The delivery was finally completed at 9:30pm which was over 2 hours after we originally ordered online. The food quality was therefore below usual expectations (soggy lettuce, cold food) and I was upset by the amount of naan bread (it was weirdly cut into three small strips). I've included photos of the mentioned foods.I would appreciate contact from this restaurant (nothing on your website to contact) as we paid the $10 delivery fee and tipped the driver but feel that this experience was not up to your usual standards.
Amazing food in an amazing restaurant. Been to this place couple of times and have been always happy with the quality and service. They always have some Indian music playing in the background which is nice. They have an amazing patio as well for when the weather gets warmer. It was my brother’s birthday so they brought him so Gulab Jamun which was really nice (not too sweet)
So close to home and it took us so long to discover it.The design in great, the menu is reach and appetising, the food it very tasty and the touch is great. It took a little long for the food to arrive, nevertheless was worth the wait.BTW - great value for money
Terrible service. Waiter was rude. Never once said you’re welcome to any of our thank you’s. Never came to check to see if everything was ok. Had to flag him down for water. Rice was delivered to our table when we were half way done our meal. Food was meh ? I’ve had better. Didn’t get to see a bill before he came over with the machine to pay and when I did pay he just walked away and I was not given a receipt or asked if I wanted one. Will not be going back.
3 stars just for customer service of front desk.I ordered uttapam for office lunch on Tuesday and the product came in a bad shape.. It was Raw from Center and sides. The batter was way too thick and the toppings were just in the centre. I went to the restaurant thinking I’ll show them and request for my money back, and to my surprise the 2 guys not only refunded my money but they apologized and said they understand my situation. Offered to make me a new one but I have my own food today. So they gave me my money back. The rest of the food (North Indian cuisine) was quite good. The garlic naan was amazing.
We visited Bombay Touch for the first time and will definitely go back. The restaurant has a clean, welcoming and cozy decor. The food was excellent and servings were not skimpy at all. Our two main dishes were Saag Lamb and Butter Chicken. Delicious! Our server was happy to answer any questions. Happy to find this restaurant so close to home!! Really looking forward to dining on their outdoor patio in the summer months.
This used to be my favourite Indian place in the area. I came when the restaurant just opened up and been coming regularly since. The food was always great. We went there today and we’re the only table at the restaurant. We were with 2 toddlers and a child and it took an hour for food to arrive. There was no music and general atmosphere was very bleh. I regretted we went there today and don’t think I’ll be coming back anytime soon. The food is good but service is extremely slow.
The restaurant used to be really good, it was our favourite place for Indian food pre-Covid. Last visit, we were really disappointed, there was a mix up with orders, the food was very salty (there were "pockets" of salt in 3 out of 4 dishes we ordered) and the service was very unfriendly. I understand that it is difficult to hire waiters these days but the Indian girl who was serving us was clearly showing her attitude: she was walking around in sweat pants, didn't smile once, didn't even say thank you when we left generous tip - we wanted to support the restaurant at these difficult times of health paranoia. Anyway, the place left quite a bitter taste, so I am not sure we are coming back. I think many people had the same experience lately, as the restaurant had only 3 tables occupied and it was on Fri night when every other place was busy.
Amazing food, amazing service and amazing staff. We celebrated a friend’s birthday at Bombay Touch and the food was so good. They even gave us complimentary desserts to add up to our celebrations. Must visit if you love authentic Indian food.
