We came in on a Wednesday without a reservation. The host was very rude! He couldn’t just say that there are no tables for walk ins. Instead, he made us and another couple stand around and wait for nothing! If that is the service here then we’re thankful we didn’t stay to eat. Go to a restaurant that wants to serve you and appreciates your business.
Calamari was beautiful, pizza as well! My family enjoyed these meals so much. The polenta fries are a must! The food was great, but the service could have been better. We had to wait a while for the first order, to order more drinks, and get our bill.I'll be back, hopefully service will be better.
I had the octopus, spinach dip and lobster spaghetti (not pictured). The octopus was very tender which is how I like it but it was a little too charred for my liking, but I just ate around the charred areas. It was also served with a chickpea cabbage salad that complimented the octopus well. The spinach dip was very cheesey and came with crisps (which I thought meant chips) but it was actually fried dough which was better than I expected! Lastly the lobster spaghetti was mediocre in my opinion. There were very small pieces of lobster in the pasta and I felt the scallops were a little fishy but the 2 shrimps in the pasta were fairly big and seemed fresh.Overall I felt like this was a pretty good Italian restaurant and would probably go back and try other items on the menu
If you are looking for authentic and delicious Italian fare right out of Nona's kitchen, this is the place to go. Exquisite decor with an ambient touch. Extraordinary menu, top notch wine selection and superior service. This restaurant is on my Top 5 list for places to dine in the GTA!
This is a great Italian restaurant by Vaughan Mills. I tried the lobster spaghetti pasta and it was delicious! The pizza here is also good. I love that there are lots of options to choose from on their menu.
This restaurant is by far one of the best restaurants i've been too. The food is always so good and the staff is so amazing.
Maybe our expectations are raised too high because of the super good reviews, the taste does not meet our expectations. We ordered rabbit pasta and smoked duck pizza. The flavor is normal, not surprising at all. They just tasted like pizza and pasta you can eat anywhere else. You won't find problems to complain about, but nothing much worth going to especially. Overall good atmosphere and nice waitress
Fabulous meal and service! Enjoyed our mid afternoon appetizer so much we came back after shopping for dinner.....the Lobster Spaghetti was divine!! A gorgeous unexpected gem. We will return!
My friends and I went to this restaurant around 1:00pm, we walked in and a female server who was white with red hair and glasses automatically told us we "we are full" and proceeded to walk away. First off, we were not greeted, asked if we had any reservations, or if we wanted take out. It is such a shame, this is the level of customer service of the restaurant and its staff. If you go to most restaurants, they greet you and let you know what the wait time is. We all felt because of the color of our skin, we were not welcomed. We wanted to give this restaurant a try based on the good reviews we read, but thankfully we did not give our business to a place that lacks basic hospitality skills and welcoming of people of all ethnicities.
Great service, amazing food and great ambiance. I had the rigatoni with rose sauce and the chocolate lava cake - truly amazing. Will be recommending this place to others!
