A group of 3 so we ordered to shared. We got the chicken shawarma pockets which was packed! Chicken was a little dry but otherwise decent, all the veggies tasted very fresh. We also got the taboulleh, fries, halloumi, and the stuffed vine leaves. The halloumi was soooo good, the perfect texture and seasoning. The fries weren't crispy by the time it got to us but it had some nice seasoning. But the DESSERT! IT WAS AMAZING! Loved loved LOVED the volcano, the cotton candy floss with the cream cheese and ice cream was perfection. I will only come back for that dish. The pretzel was also reallllllllly yummy, I didn't think that halloumi could be sweet but with the halva and the soft bread, yum!
Unbelievably good food! I have never tried Syrian cuisine before and now I can't wait to visit them again and try more stuff. The waitress was helpful in answering our all queries as we are new to the cuisine. The food is really delicious! We tried beef and lamb, both so good we wished we could have space in stomach to order more.Never thought cherry and beef would be a combo ?
Love the lamb shank with freekeh, the yogurt goes really well with the grains. The chicken fatteh tastes really good with the crispy pita. The cream cheese my Aden tart has a crispy crust yet soft inside, and the pistachio adds texture to the tart. Will definitely come around again to try the ice cream with marshmallow!
I am in love with this place! Theirs decor is beautiful, nice music, good service and delicious food.-started: Beef Kebbeh and Grilled Halloumi Cheese-main: Kabab Karaz-deserts: Barazek and Ghraybeh-drinks: Qamar Eldin (it’s so good! Looks a regular juice, but tastes very different), Syrian coffee, and special tea (please order this!).
I am trying to make an excuse to visit this place. Whenever I have a guess initially, I am asked if they tried the Syrian food :)I believe two lovely ladies have managed the restaurant. Very nice customer service, but I believe it is a little pricey, but it's all good. It's post-pandemic :)
This dinner was absolutely mind blowing! The flavours that came out in these dishes wer incredible. This was my first time here and I was so impressed with all the vegan options they had.Our server was so kind, and recommended her favourite dishes and she nailed it.Can’t wait to come back!
Great place, first time eating Syrian food. I ordered Syrian coffee, Molokia with Chicken and Mom's Hariseh. I really like Mom's Hariseh it is a desert time but has a nice balance of savoury and sweet that I really like in a desert. This desert item is something I would come back for. The Molokia with Chicken is really interesting never had anything like it. The broth around the rice reminded me abit lei cha fan (thunder tea rice), but really beyond that is where the similarity ends. I never quite tasted anything like it and would recommend people to check it out. Chicken was tender as well. The coffee was nice but I can see why some might not like it.
The place is so full on a weekend ! We had no idea that they charge a minimum amount of 30 dollars a person on a weekend . However , since we are not big eaters and they hadn’t told us before , they didn’t charge us as per that rule . Nice of them . We had Chicken molakkia, chicken shawarma, and our dessert choice was Moms Hariseh, all delicious! The Arak wine cocktail has a very strong flavour of Annie seeds and is sweet too so choose accordingly.
Had lunch today with family, friendly service but a bit slow. Food was tasty from starters to main dishes. Traditional Syrian drinks made locally were excellent. Overall, great food and service.
Home away from home. JUST PERFECT.Am writing this review while drinking my coffee at the place could not wait to share my great experience. The place has a perfect cozy vibe very warm and alive. The team is very friendly and welcoming. As for the food could not he aby better, the presentation is great and the taste is flawless.
