Excellent food with great choices of fish and seafood. Beautiful quiet, intimate backyard patio, but small, so make sure you call to reserve. Outstanding service, staff is very attentive and helpful. The smoked trout pate was a perfect appetizer for 4.

First time at Zee Grill, and we loved the food, and had a really lovely evening! The service was friendly and food arrived super quickly from the kitchen for all courses. Staff were super friendly.
What a great experience Zee was. My friend and I shared oysters. We had the Lucky and French Kiss as our choices. I had the ahi tuna and my friend had the calamari and cone of fries. She said her meal was outstanding. The ahi tuna is a must try. Just a well thought out plate. The whole plate just coplimented the tuna. Our server Riaan (name on the bill) is just superb and made the evening great. He made all the food suggestions and glasses of wine to pair with the food. Thank you Zee we will be back.
We have dined at Zee Grill many times and the food and service is consistently excellent. We highly recommend it, you wonât be disappointed.

Service very poor. Confused waiter. Mistakes on order. Mistakes on cheque. Slow service. Couldnât even get the cutlery right. Ahi tuna was mediocre. We have been going to The Zee Grill for 20 years. We are disappointed.
Back at this restaurant for the first time in years. We arrived at our table and a young lady attended to us asking if we wanted water. We did, but make the mistake of asking for our starter cocktail at the same time. It was only when she returned with the water, that we were advised she couldn't take a cocktail order. Later, she delivered our oysters and likely didn't know what oysters we were receiving...because she left. Other patrons were getting the full guided tours of their oysters. She then delivered our flat water, but left our bubby water glasses on the table, and our cocktail glasses ( it is a small table), the flat water arrived with an alarming "thud" on the table. When the table was cleared for our mains - our flatware was also removed. Our mains arrived but no flatware. So, we stared at the food a bit before flagging down a young man to get us utensils. He delivered them to our table to be promptly harassed by the two wait staff. Likely feeling flustered, he managed to drop the fork on my wife's foot. He picked up the fork and started setting the table and my wife said - I hope the floor fork isn't on here. He assured us it wasn't and left to get another fork. He apologized effusively. I get that the service industry can't get good help. The issue with Zee Grill? They have no help. This ruins the experience. It was like dining amid chaos.
There is nothing on the menu that didnât taste amazing. The staff was just outstanding and the ambiance of the place is quite unique. Highly recommend this place if you love great tasting seafood
