They consistently have some of the freshest, tastiest Persian food around. Their food is made with passion and care, which surprisingly enough they have maintained throughout the years, which is hard to say for other restaurants throughout the years.I've tried many Persian restaurants in the GTA and GVA and I'd have to say Zaffron is truly one of my top 5, or maybe even the best.Thank you Zaffron, keep up the good work, it is noticed and appreciated!
My friends had meat (kabab Barg and Sultani I guess) and all of them got sick one after another! I am vegetarian, I had Mirza ghasemi and samosa so I was fine. Food quality was poor but the staff were nice and friendly and they had good customer service.
This restaurant is excellent. I am very picky with my food and I can say after dining here twice that the quality and flavours are wonderful. Everything tasted fresh and homemade. The vaziri dish was one of the best ones I have had (meat was very tender, no grizzly bits, very flavourful). Staff were polite and attentive, service was quick (Sunday night). I highly recommend this restaurant and will be back again for sure.

Always fresh and tasty flavorful food. Yesterday I was so disappointed, by the time I got home my food was cold! The packaging that my food came in was sticking out of the clear plastic takeout bag it came in, the container was clearly longer than the carry out bag. They need to rethink their packaging. Will dine in from now on.
My highest recommendation. Wonderful, charming people, superior service, and excellent food. Food is always delicious and beautifully presented. Great location, lots of seating, and plenty of parking.
I'm always looking out for genuine wood oven pizza. When searching my area, I came across Zaffron's website that states "Wood Oven Pizza & Exclusive and delicious wood oven pizza". So I was happy to try Zaffron for the first time. BIG DISAPPOINTMENT. From my experience, these pizza's never saw the inside of a wood burning oven. I called the restaurant and told the person who answered the phone that these pizza's didn't smell, resemble nor taste like they were baked in a wood burning oven. His immediate response was, "oh yes they were" and I said "I don't think so". He then put me on hold and another person picked up and I repeated my complaint to him and he said that it's hard to get wood in the winter time and that if I wanted wood oven pizza, I should have requested it. I told him that your website only specifies "wood oven pizza" and no other type. The gentleman offered no apology, or compensation and rushed to end my call. These pizza's were awful.Sorry for venting, but I don't think I'll be returning to Zaffron, as I've been duped.
I used to love this place. The quality of the food was great and tasty until tonight.Kabab torsh and Tahdig used to be my favourite food here.Tonight I ordered “Tahdig” and since the Tahding was not on the Uber menu I called and confirmed with them that what should I do. They instructed me to add gheime and as a note indicating that instead of rice, add Tahdig which I did.After some time they called me to say that this food is sold out and they can provide regular gheime which I did not want it! The whole point of ordering this food was that Tahdig, not the gheyme... And I wanted to show the food for the first time to someone that's why I insisted to have Tahding... Anyway... I told them to cancel my order and a kind gentleman did his best to do that but he said he can't do it from his side. Neither I can't do it from mine since the food was on the way on the Uber menu.After some discussion, a lady took the phone and in a not really nice way tried to convince me that this was my mistake and I should not have ordered Tahdig as a note for ghime!!!Anyway... In the end, I tried to end the conversation by accepting the gheime!Again... Before receiving my food, I did not want to write this here and complain about it BUT after receiving the food:1) they forgot to give me the Pop which I ordered.2) the side for the food was poor in contrast with their usual attitude3) typically in gheime there are some pieces of meat not JUST 2 very very small cuts.I am spending So much time writing this not because I want to damage you with my negative comment but because I used to love this place!!! They always provided me with a great quality of food...Great sides and often kind notes with smiley face back in almost a year ago...I am so disappointed about tonight...I hope this will never happen to anyone else cuz you guys used to be very very good...The order I have received today was far far far from you...:(
Service is terrible, overcharge. Waitresses do not know how to serve clients, the owner is careless about clients. No clients first thought that due to COVID people do not go to restaurants, later realized that clients do not come back.
