Used to order from this location all the time and loved it. Ordered tonight and they changed their container, it was a lot smaller. And they use store bought guac instead of fresh now? Still hungry and very unimpressed by the change in quality.
Unimpressed.Read rave reviews here about how this place is better than Chipotle but I disagree. It's just..."fine." Steak is bland. All the toppings other than the rice were measly. Salsa has no kick, guac just tastes like avocado...stick with the other place in my opinion.
As close as one can get to a burrito in the dictionary definition of one. Nothing more, nothing less. You'll eat it and think safely that you had a "burrito". There are far better burritos within 200 m of this spot.
I've been there a few times and loved it every time. The staff is genuinely kind and the food is amazing and healthy, what else could you ask for?
z-teca is my all time favourite Mexican restaurant brand for the quality of food they serve. What makes this branch even more special is the pineapple salad that they exclusively prepare which is just the best topping I ever had on a burrito bowl.
The food is healthy, hearty and quick to order. Perfect for a fast food option that isn't microwaved or deep fried. Always satisfied after eating. Friendly owner-operator.
it was our birthday celebration Yesterday April 8th 2022 with my friends at Sheraton Downtown and ordered 5 meals plus snacks from Zteca and they sent our order on time .. with extra care and sauce. ?? seems easy but we appreciate the attention given. Thank You Again! Kudos to the manager Joselle.
I've been coming to this restaurant very often since I moved downtown and even after trying many other Mexican eateries and this has been my go-to every time. The quality and quantity of food is well worth your money! My favorite is the beef barbacoa burrito, its packed full of flavor! I would 10/10 recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for a great bite to eat.
Terrible portion size, the owner likes to argue with the customer over the quantity of a sauce?! Their main objective is cost cutting and unfortunately it takes precedence over customer satisfaction. I wish them all the best with trying to save each and every penny because they lost our business for good. Also, the food compared to other Z-teca locations is mediocre at it’s best.
Honestly very upset! I live on charles st, so this place is a hop, skip and a jump away from my condo. I would go there all the time because I love taco’s and I found the shrimp taco tasty here. I also liked the queso and chips. But idk if they have had a change in policy/recipe because of cost cutting or what it is but the last 3 times I’ve noticed they had put in only 4 tiny shrimp in the entire taco… that’s absurd!!! Its not something they did before. Won’t be returning, no value for money on the item I like anymore.
