It was an amazing experience. T'was my friend's birthday, meeting up here after soo many years, the ambience is amazing, we were seated outside in the patio, they have heaters btw. The staff are friendly despite that they were super busy, but they haven't forgotten about us. We had a great time here, well if you're up to the clubbin after it's a good place to go. But would have been better if they choose good music as well, not just the tiktok famous one's you know.. Price wise? Hmmm... above the norm.. food wise? We love the chicken bites, the calamari (too much salt on the batter) but still edible.. drinks? The blossom or something was sold-out.. The servers said it's a popular drink, but they should have stocked up more if it's the best-seller. Anyways, over-all it's an 8/10 ? ?
Me and my husband went to Xango last night! We loved the vibe the decor and ambiance. Food was really good as well. The reason I'm not scoring higher is that the customer service didn't match. We were served by a young girl wearing jeans and a tank top. All waitresses had their hair down which in my opinion is not hygienic when serving food. Every one wearing tank tops tight fitting clothes and armpits on show and to be honest I couldn't really tell who worked there because everyone was doing their own thing. Also the girl serving us, could do with some training. She smiled but that's about it, there was no interaction with the guests and because it was our first time there we didn't know what to order but there was also no suggestions for food or drinks. When clearing our plates from the starters she started and then got distracted with the TV and forgot to finish what she was doing. Overall very poor service, like very very poor service. A little training and some uniforms would go a long way to match the prices.
The servers are awesome, super friendly and kind. Overall I liked the place; it looks great, plays good music and the vibe was cool.On the other hand, the food is just okay. I had a bowl with salmon and tuna which was good, but I’ve also tried their burgers and fried rice and whatnot which are not bad, but I’d just never buy them again.I do believe they need a bigger assortment of cocktail drinks. The server kindly offered to fix me something that wasn’t on the menu, it was so delicious. Extra points for that type of great customer service, but I’d very much appreciate to have more cocktails on the menu.This place is not actually on King St, it’s kind of secluded so I think that’s the reason why it wasn’t super crowded which I was thankful for. Would go back.

Anyways, he was great, gave good description of the food, provided thoughtful feedback on cocktail choices and just overall hospitable. Food wise, everything was tasty and great timing. Cocktails were made well. Overall the thing that made the difference for this experience was probably the service. I can find good food and good cocktails anywhere, but good service always sets places apart. I hope he gets recognition for his excellent service.

Excellent, eclectic menu with lots of variety. Good selection of Gins and Cocktails, I'm always looking for elderflower tonic and was excited to see it on the menu. Food was good quality and very tasty. Personally would have liked a bit more side ratio with my main meal but couldn't fault it otherwise. Last but probably best part of the experience was the staff. Friendly, attentive and super accommodating. Will definitely rerurn!
I’m not one to leave a review, let alone a bad one but after all the incredible things I had heard about Xango I’m left feeling a little confused.Our reservations were for 9:15, when we got there we were greeted by a less than enthusiastic host who was sitting by the door on her phone the entire time.Our server Holly greeted us, offered us a drink and that was pretty much the extent of her service. She did not come to check on us to see if we enjoyed our drinks (we did not.). she came back to take our order very quickly, and then disappeared for the rest of the meal. I should also mention that there were only 2 other tables seated in the restaurant at the time which leaves me wondering where she could have disappeared to for over an hour.I gave Xango 3 stars because the food was actually very tasty. However, the front of the house staff definitely leaves more to be desired and I wouldn’t really recommend it to anyone based on this alone.
Awful experience, would give 0 stars if I could. The food was overpriced and overall a disappointment. There are many places you can go to get better food without the shockingly rude behaviour. I don't know who he is, but the a geriatric fellow that works there is unhinged. I'm no doctor but I'd advise he seek help for multitude of issues displayed.
The service was great and the food was delicious. Can't wait to go again.
