There weren't actually as many vegetarian sausage options here as I had seen on the menu, but the one I had (apple and sage with onion and cheese on a roll) was delicious! The rolls are really fantastic. Great beer selection as well. Definitely a fave and hope to come back again.
Had a great time at WVRST. The food was food and drink was solid! Really liked the way the place looked and the staff were friendly.
Great collection of beers and especially Bavarian beers. Had a chicken sausage with bread and their special sauce. Not very filling, but definitely very delicious. We also had fries (which goes by the name - dirty duck fries).
Great beer hall atmosphere, staff was very friendly and helpful. Pretzels were really good. Burgers were good. Want to try the sausages. I will definitely go back with friends. Very cool, low key relaxed atmosphere. Draft Beer selection was great. Love the huge traditional beer steins.
WOW! WOW! WOWWWWWWWWW!! Most Incredible Schnitzel sandwiches!! Potato salad is divine and the duck fat fries.... A Droolable crime!! The nicest people working there and such a wonderful atmosphere, can't wait to sit inside and be a part of the WVRST community!! The Schnitzel is done to perfection, crispy and the perfect bun to boot! Added; cold sauerkraut, giardinere, curry wurst sauce and sauteed onions and it was just incredible!!! Potato salad bursting with flavours and textures and the duck fat fries are off the hook!!! Great prices and the portions are spectacular!! You have to GO GO GO!!!!
It's poetically just and ironic, that this place is called "Wurst", as it indeed turned out to be exactly that - the worst! When I made the order at 10am, the Uber Eats app said the order will be delivered between 1pm to 1:30pm.I called at noon to cancel, realizing I just ordered three sausages, 2 orders of fries, two cokes, 5 pretzels - for $160!This was a very expensive mistake. The lady that answered at the restaurant said they couldn't cancel anymore, even though delivery time was more than an hour later, and I live less than 20 minutes from the restaurant, so at that point I figured that ok - let's see what world class food this place makes for $160.Dog food. That's what I got. Fries were brown, burned and soggy, sausages you buy outside a Canadian Tire for $7 were better tasting than the ones I got here, and the buns were soggy and tasteless. What a scam. But then again - how would that taste good, if the food was already being made an hour before it was supposed to be delivered?
Different kind of concept then some of the other restaurants we’ve been to in Toronto. You get a table, then when ready, order at the counter. They give you a number then deliver to your table when your food is ready. Some items are more worth it then others. My pretzel was kind of small. Adding the cheese sauce and tip, it was around $11-12. My friends however all ordered a sausage and it was a pretty decent size! The duck fries they got were phenomenal as well. Definitely take a deeper look into the menu before ordering. In all, I think we would go back to try this place again.
This place was a nice change from what you might usually expect at a restaurant with their communal mess hall type dining room and ordering directly at the counter. There was an emphasis too on take-out options which was cool, like for their craft beer, etc.I had the duck/ foie gras sausage and my friend had kangaroo. The other options for game sausages included elk and wild boar to name a few. The duck sausage was really good. We also had the duck fat fries which was good for a couple bites. Honestly, I would've been happy without all the toppings. There's so many options to choose from with their food and drinks, that I'd definitely come back again just to try something new each time. The atmosphere is a nice casual social setting.

Very nice and friendly place to hang with friends or by yourself! Food is delicious and portions are gigantic! Amazing selection of beers and wines. Staff is extremely friendly too.
