Do you have a place that you go to and you know everything is going to be great every time? For me, that’s Wish. Solid all around dining experience. I’ve had the tofu scramble (great), Shakshouka (great), lamb burger (good), beef burger (solid), avocado toast (great but why don’t I ever make this at home?!??), Brussels sprouts (A MUST-HAVE). I think part of the reason I come here is the atmosphere. Think ‘cute French cottage’. Also, the owner and manager are a staple in the community and I love supporting them (owners of 7West). From date night to mother’s day to celebrations to a quick lunch to brunch, I promise, you won’t be disappointed.
Poor customer service. Waitress accidentally spilled red wine on my dress. She didn’t apologize and forgot to bring the club Soda she had promised to me. I had to remind her. She had an attitude. My lamb chop was overdone and my daughter’s stake was blue and cold. Her salad was drenched in oil. They were eager to close the place and was not interested in serving us after dropping more than $400 there. My husband is generous to top them 18% as I wouldn’t have!

First patio of the season! Came with a couple of friends for drinks and snacks.We tried the BEER BATTERED ONION RINGS; and FRITES, GRANA PADANO, TRUFFLE OIL with a few RUM SOURS.At first, the menu looks a little expensive but, the food was really tasty, the portions quite decent, and the drinks very nice.Also, the service was very welcoming and diligent.
The service was timely and the food was delicious! Highly recommend their eggs and purgatory dish! The server Mickel was very accommodating!
Went here for my birthday brunch and had a fabulous time! The challah French toast was AMAZING - definitely recommend. My party also had good things to say about the carrot cake pancakes and chia pudding.Only giving 4 stars because the reservation system was a bit of a pain. I wanted to add one additional person to my party and was not able to do so online or by calling the restaurant (was only going from 6 to 7 people - nothing crazy). Only option was to email the restaurant. It’s weird that no one at the restaurant has access to modify reservations.Overall good experience and would go back!
Omg we just discovered this place! I want to keep it a secret, but I can't, it was that amazing. From the food to the service this hidden gem is a must visit when you are in Toronto. We tried the flatbread of the day, the calamari and the beach pie. AND they make an awesome macchiato! Can't wait for our next visit!
HORRIBLE HORRIBLE!!! Prices very expensive for how bad the food tasted. The server barely came by to our table. Ordered a vodka soda and it was watered down. Go somewhere, this place sucks.
I Went here for a birthday party and made a resort for 130pm. Environment was really cool and eclectic yet pragmatic like the menu. What you'd expect for a brunch but I liked the attention to detail and simple twists to the menu and cocktails. Ordered 2 cherry slings because they were so dang good. Staff were friendly enough and extremely attentive, just missed the homeliness and chance to talk. Def will come again for cocktails and to try out the ? pancakes. Cheers
