Smoked meat was amazing and the beef patty was out of this world delicious!
I got a pea-meal bacon sandwich and some of the smoked meat to go. All assembled at time of ordering. It does take some time but good things come to those who wait. The smoked meat is the best I have had. I will be coming back. Grab a Jamaican patty while you are there my partner really enjoyed it.
One of the best places to get a sandwich in Toronto. The beef cheek literally melts in your mouth. I’m drooling just thinking about eating it again! Highly recommend the trek to check it out.
Usually i don't bother with reviews but if your looking for a good quality smoked meat sandwich this is the place to go to! Amazing big portion of meat on a rye bread that just melts in your mouth! They even gave me extra pickles when i asked on uber! And the sauce they use for it matches it perfectly, definitely worth the price! :) Will be coming back!
I had 2 smoked meat sandwiches and a coleslaw for lunch yesterday . The smoked meat sandwiches were great . Not quite as good as I would get in MTL , it was missing something in the spices , but some of the best I had in the city . the creamy coleslaw was a little disappointing , but I was there mostly for the sandwiches . So overall experience was good , and I'll make sure to come back for the sandwiches and I'll skip on the salad next time .
Friendly service, clean and pleasant environment. Above all, the most delicious Reuben sandwich I've ever had! The meat was tender, flavourful and plentiful.
Popped in for a patty and the porchetta sandwich special. Both were delicious! The patty was one of the best I've had, delicious rich pastry. Ryan and the team are super friendly and the prices are great. Perfect neighbourhood lunch spot!
You should go eat here if you enjoy eating food.Just absolutely brilliant chow. Smoked meat is as good as Sumilicious, but made just a shade differently, enough that one may properly hold both in the same sufficient level of reverence.To boot, incredibly nice people running the joint. Just AMAZING!!!!!! My wife and I love to discover new places and this one hit it out of the park!!! Their sign outside had this fun humour to it which tells you, this place is zen!? As soon as we walked in we were greeted and a conversation was struck up over my WKRP shirt! Everyone there was so welcoming and friendly it was amazing!!! We hadn't even ordered yet!!? The vibe there was just Awesome Cool!!! ? We got the smoked meat and Reuben sandwiches and they were on point with them!!! Brilliant texture, amount, size and flavours and you just can't go wrong with a damn good sandwich!!!! We chatted away while our food was getting ready. Just the Nicest people there!! We'll Definitely be back!!!!
I stopped by last week after not having visited since the before times. The bad - no more beef cheek sandwiches.The Good - their smoked meat is excellent. A bit drier than I'm accustomed to but that's not a bad thing as the bread doesn't dissolve in your hands. The meat is delicious - it has a hint of some other spice that lends it a bit of a pastrami vibe.Absolutely no complaints though, I'll make an excuse to brave the traffic and head back again soon.Edit - staff are still top shelf.
