This place is delicious! We had pancakes with strawberries and a veggie bagel that included egg, spinach, onions, and cheese. The food was great but the table service was a little slow. The server had 3 tables and it took her a long time to come to our table. I wasn't sure if they took the order at the table because it took her so long. Besides that everyone was nice and helpful. A tip for your first time if you're ordering a bagel or pastry go to the end of the counter opposite of the register and they will build your bagel there. A lot of people were getting confused on what to do.
The best bagel I have tried in Toronto so far. So there in early morning, try toasted fresh bagel with butter, whatever cheese you like, and whatever toppings you wanna add.Patio is coming as well. A good place to go for brunch.
Decent breakfast joint in Toronto.Decent bagels and baked goods. Nice that they have so many ways you can customize your bagel or sandwich.Nothing to write home about in terms of flavor or quality. Not amazing but not bad by any stretch. Ordering is very confusing as it not clearly labeled where to order or how. Not a huge deal, but first time it's unclear.Smoothies are just ok, although there are lots of options which is nice.Very pricey even for just coffee and bagels. With all the other restaurants in the area that serve bagels and baked goods, you can do better but if this is on your path it's decent.
It’s always busy in the morning, my husband and I managed to get a table because we arrived early, right after they open their doors.Staff were friendly and attentive, they let us changed tables after I told them it was hard to sit in an area where the sun was in my face.We ordered the egg benedicts, one with salmon and one with spinach. The portions were huge for breakfast, we didn’t finish our side salad nor the home fries. Everything tasted great, the Hollandaise sauce was amazing. I also ordered a PJ power shake and I recommend it as a meal substitute. That was filling enough for me as a meal alone. If you’re looking for a breakfast place early in the mornings on the weekends, I recommend What a Bagel!
I had a amazing and delightful service with Anna the server.. Courteous , professional, friendly and she has a nice smile. The food there is delicious, great value and lots of scrumptious items to choose from. One of my favourite breakfast items on the menu is the eggs florentine which I ate.Very clean restaurant and also has takeout service. I dined there on a Tuesday morning so I was able to get a booth .
New York style bagels done however you want! Great set up in the shop. Walk up to the counter, tell them the bagel you want, they toast it fresh, then you walk it down the line of condiments you want on it. They've got everything a great bagel shop should have. Just went for plain cream cheese this time, but next time I'll be doing the proper lox bagel setup with salmon and the works!
The food is to diiiiie for. I went for a week straight with my family and you just can't get enough of it. The staff is amazing and really cool to chat with. Wish it would open in Montreal! It's worth the trip, and guarantee you'll leave the place with a smile and a full tummyy :)
Great bagel spot - check out their cheese bagels.Service: 8/10. Once you get someone, they’re good to work with when they can hear you. There’s definitely some room for improvement, but - then again - it’s not a 5 star kind of placeEnvironment: 7/10. The bagel racks look so good and the overall environment is ok. The dangling signage in the front looks cheap and tacky. I’d also say, it always feels messy in the front area.Food: 9/10. The reason we keep coming back is the bagel. It’s a dependable local spot that we find ourselves grabbing a couple dozen bagels every time.
Ordered veggie Omelette and a Mushroom Omelette. Loved the food. My suggestion: Go for house salad than fries. Definitely better option!
I love this location! This is our frequent brunch spot during the warm summer months!Pricing is fair and portions are great. Staff are friendly and quick. I also love to swing by and pick up some fresh bagels here and there.
