Had a very disappointing and disturbing experience today. Ive been to whatabagel before and it was positive. But today we were greeted with disgruntled employees, which I didn't mind too much. What was really disturbing was watching an employee sneeze into his hand, use it to wipe his nose, and then immediately start serving people their coffee and food without washing them. On top of that I found 2 hairs in my food. Disappointed with today’s experience because it is usually good, but I don’t think I can return for a while.
I dropped in this past Sunday morning for some freshly baked bagels and got exactly what I wanted with the loveliest interaction when checking out. It was my birthday so they wished me a happy birthday and gave me a birthday discount, which was super nice, but the best part really was just how friendly and warm they were - I had a fantastic day so thank you! (Oh and the bagels were delicious, so I'll definitely be making this my preferred bagel stop from now on.)
Got some serious food poisoning from there. My 4 year old daughter and myself shared something and about 6 hours after we were both very very sick. It was the only thing we ate that was the same and nobody in our family came down with any symptoms. Only reasonable explanation is we both got food poisoning.In addition the staff overall is not very friendly.
Absolutely love this place. The local owner, Seth is always there, so pleasant and welcoming. I dare you to try to walk by the pastry shelf without grabbing something. And they’re really good on Ritual too, which I like.
The food is amazing! The melted hash is to die for, tastes amazing and is a great portion size. The coffee is also really good.This is my new go to brunch restaurant
Very fresh and as the name claims good selection of bagels. A decent menu I have got to go back to try some of their egg offerings. Good coffee.

Small sitting area, both takeaway and dine in available. Quick and easy lunch. I ordered a veg sandwich and it was yummy. Would have liked it more if it was a bit more warmed up.
Terrible service at the counter.Staff stop listening to our order and start to chat with coworker in front of us in the middle of us ordering. Of course the order comes out wrong. With no apology given for the error made by the staff.
