This restaurant offers one of the tastiest Doro wat. I also find their portions to be larger than other Ethiopian restaurants with amazing quality.The location is not the best but they do take out, uber eats and offer great service in the restaurant.
The food was delicious one of the best Ethiopian places I've eaten. We were a little nervous going into such a small restaurant during a pandemic after masks have been removed. The waitress was getting a little close and not many people were respecting social distancing. We still had a good meal and an enjoyable time and at the end of the day no one got sick.
I ordered "Kornis" to go. There weren't many dining customers in the restaurant at the time. Only two tables were occupied. The waitress informed me to come back in 15 min. I left and came back after 20 min but the food was not ready. I returned back after 15 min to get my order.The price is outrageously expensive to say the least. I ordered "Kornis" dish (meal for 1) and it came to $28.25. I must say, not even the price of the lavish authentic Greek dishes offered at many of the Greek restaurants which inhabit the nearby Danforth streets does not even cost nearly that much.
Good experience, staff was polite. However I was comparing food with Nazerath’s level which I didn’t find. Not sure about authenticity but as an Indian taste buds it’s not my cup of tea at this restaurant however I use to go Nazerath’s every week.
I went to this restaurant for the first time. Very helpful and attentive staff. We got the wazema meat combo platter. Food was delicious and fresh, and it was a generous portion. The decor is cozy and pleasant.
The Vegetarian Ethiopian dish was just simply the best I have had in Toronto! I asked for the gluten free injera and it was incredible they told me it was from Ethiopia. Such a gem of a place try it it rocks!
I was shamefully impatient waiting for my meal, and the staff were very kind. When the food finally arrived....i couldn't believe my tastebuds!! Soooooo savoury, and delicious, i would wait 5 hours for this food. This place is a do not miss on the danforth!!!! Give them a try, you will not be disappointed. They will even cook your food without spice if you are like me and can't handle it!! 10/10.
We ordered takeout and everything was delicious. It was packaged really well and was still super warm when we opened it up at home. I'd highly recommend checking them out. Portions are huge too!
Best Ethiopian in town!If you’re newbie to Ethiopian, my suggestion would be to get the veggie delight and the wazema meat combo.Eat in or Order in / both are great options!
The food was delicious. We ordered a combo for 2 and there was plenty of food. Can't wait to go back post pandemic and eat in person
