Happened upon this place when looking for inexpensive beer options, inspired by a great pub crawl with a friend. I swear I've probably walked by this place dozens of times without really acknowledging what it was.The INSANELY varied menu, particularly the selection of meats, is INCREDIBLE! The prices are decent, and so far my friends and I have no complaints.I always look forward to that next visit...
Delightful spot with a nice moody atmosphere.Food was great- we’ve ordered:- bison burger + sweet potato fries- salmon burger + friesWe’ve also ordered shots - there was a nice selection and were surprisingly very inexpensive; ranged between $2 & $3 per shot.This is a great hangout spot for you and your friends.
I got drunk off of five shots so I’ll try my best to remember what happened. The shot names were kinda interesting…”cum shot” quick fuk”, I try not to question why. I definitely recommend the gold digger shot it tastes amazing.
Really bad customer service. It was busy so we asked the waiter if there was going to be a spot available for us, a party of two. It would have been fine if he just said no. But instead, he told us to wait there and had us standing for 15 min. He made some calls and gave us no updates, having us unsure if we were wasting our time or not. People who came in after us, he talked to politely and was way more friendly with and almost wanted to give them priority. Possibly a racism issue. Won’t be coming back.
Really good burger. Great price. Very nice staff. Restaurant is clean and quiet. Definitely going to eat here again.
I ordered through Ritual. I selected pick up. I went to leave to go pick it up and where I was told I wasn’t allowed to leave the building and return do to Covid rules. ( I was visiting someone in a hospital ) I called ritual to say I can’t pick it up can you change it to a delivery (within minutes of ordering). They said nothing they can do ! Never using it again. However I called W Burger Bar and explained to them what has happened. The gentleman I talked to helped me out and was able to flag down a cab and have it delivered to me. Very happy with the service and the food was good !!!
Affordable but diluted drinks and mediocre food. Was surprised to see they offer unusual and exotic meats like kangaroo and elk! I like how you can build your own burger too. I ended up getting the kangaroo burger and it was quite dry and underwhelming. It didn't come with any sides. The burger was plated on one side of a long plate with the other side being visibly empty.The service was friendly but slow. Not the ideal place to go to have a nice conversation with a friend since the music is super loud. It's a good place for moderately cheap drinks. Can't go wrong with $10 pitchers and $2 shots!Would recommend making a reservation since it's a small restaurant and can get quite busy in the evening.
Been there twice, the first time a month ago and the same waitress who served me last time approached and said hello and that she remembered......very impressive. Not sure of spelling but I think Ianne, and very attentive. Food was very good as are the drinks, raspberry mint cooler is delicious
The location is conveniently located just outside the College Street subway.However, the inside of the bar was basic, too loud to have a conversation with the person at the same table.The walls looked to be wiped down with a dirty rag - streak marks on the walls.Beer is priced moderate, but I'm concerned with the maintenance of the draft system.The food was tasty and arrived in good time.The server seemed to be on autopilot, not very aware of her surroundings even when attempting to wave her down.
Cheap shots, friendly ambiance, lots of interesting food options such as the bison or kangaroo sliders. What more could you be looking for? A lowkey fav!
