My husband and I saw this place and decided to try it. You instantly see the Chef working with fresh ingredients and it was nice that ordering came with a mixture of everything. The food was amazing!!! We're always so dissapointed that vegan food outside is either pure junk food or it tastes very commercial/unhealthy. We got the roti and a large sized meal, and amazing!!!' The first time I ate vegan food outside my own home where the food had love, flavour and tasted like it was made the moment we ordered it! Loved the colours in our meal and the curry was fantastic!!! We are so happy we found this place randomly and gave it a try!
The deliciousness hits you before you even walk in the door. The aroma permeates along Baldwin and it is one of the best parts of living in Kensington. Hands-down best roti in the city. Their colourful chopped hot sauce packs a serious punch. While I haven't visited in a minute since their new hours are a little difficult for me to make it in, I always recommend this spot to my vegetarian and vegan friends.They also paint a lovely sidewalk mural every year, a nice touch for artists and art lovers alike.
Unassuming from the outside, inside one is treated to a warm, colourful, and happy environment. It is clear that the staff love being there, and that love transfers over to the delicious meals served there. The attention to quality fresh ingredients assures you that your money is well spent. Without asking, I was treated to a free sample that helped me make my decision - the soup of the day was amazing and had a very unique flavour profile. I can't wait to be back to try some of the other dishes offered. If you want to eat somewhere that will uplift your mood, spirit, and health, Veggie D'Light is the place to go. A great addition to the community, and I hope they continue to prosper.

This place is no joke. I came in with low expectations and left blown away. Soup was PHENOMENAL. highly recommend the roti. They have this amazing in house spicy sauce. Ended up buying a jar for home. Every single thing they make is tasty as hell. Can’t wait to go back. Please don’t think twice about checking these guys out. 100/10
I’ve noticed in recent times that the price has gone up and the portions are getting smaller/stingy.So much so that the last time I went there, I basically got a dish of steamed cabbage with the curry as a side condiment - like 3 tablespoons or so. And a few pieces of inedible hard dried plantains.So I went back and pointed it out and showed my large “meal”The girl behind the counter added another tbsp of curry and sarcastically said she’s glad I enjoyed it.Actually, no I didn’t enjoy paying $17 for flavourless shredded cabbage and a few tablespoons of curry.I ended up throwing it out… who wants to eat cabbage as a “meal” especially when it’s been served with attitude.Maybe if they had accurately labelled it as a steamed cabbage bowl with curry as a condiment (instead of protein meal topped with veggies) I wouldn’t have paid and wasted money for it and this issue would not have occurred.
One of the best places I've eaten at over the last 12 months in Toronto. Easy!Great food, great vibe. Fantastic location and the service is second to none.Very picky, hard to please. Expect too much. Some of the quotes to understand how picky I can be.Vegans heaven! Organic, Non GMO & GF. Taste in every bite. Couldn't eat any more so I'll be back!
Love this cozy jamaican ital/vegan cuisine. Roti with Jerk Seitan and Curry Supreme is my fav.Love this and would recommend 100%

Attractive decor, very tasty meals, good service, pleasant staff. It was my first visit and I took a friend who is in the same biznez in her country. We both gave high marks to this eatery and its staff!
