We've been regulars here since we moved into the neighbourhood in June 2019. It's a comfy spot with tasty food, and excellent staff. We highly recommend it!
My favourite go to place! Busy but not too busy, perfect amount of noise, the food is AMAZING and the servers are the nicest in the industry! Try the Epic Cheeseburger or the Chicken Bow Tie Pasta. You canât go wrong!
Lack of vegetarian options. The menu on OpenTable is outdated and majority of the options are no longer available. There were 3 vegetarian options: Nachos, veggie burger or salad.

Union Social is a great neighbourhood pub. Lunch on a Saturday afternoon was quiet - the weather was amazing - and the guests ranged in age from 5 to 75. Nice to see people out for lunch before the Jays game, kids devouring burgers and the pub grub never disappoints. There are 3 huge TV screens behind the bar if you are into that, but nothing is turned up loud. One thing to note if you're bringing someone elderly who finds stairs tricky: the toilets are located down a long flight of stairs. There may be an alternate rest room on the main floor, but I did not see it. The service, as always, was very good.
It was OK. Salmon eggs Benny arrived warm not hot...but was good. Coffee was Luke warm & they provided another Americano. The temperature wasn't sustainable and only had two sips.
My Mum, sister, and myself had a belated Mother’s Day dinner here before heading to Casa Loma, and we enjoyed everything from the friendly, attentive service, (gentleman bartender - sorry, I have baby brain and forget your name!) to the delicious food, to the casual-hip atmosphere. Would absolutely recommend for a nice night out! Thank you!
Solid experience, good for beers for with friends and/or coworkers
First time back after Covid closures; the Union seems to be back to full staff level, service was great. We were there for lunch; it seemed to be very popular with various office groups, so it was at maximum noise level. Harder to talk with just 2 people but still good food, comfortable setting.
