Good burgers but the sitting was pathetic. The guy who cooked our food was extremely nice.
My husband and I are in Top Gun right now. The restaurant is Dirty! Walls, floors and windows. There is a weird odour and the cashier is also the Chef (not very friendly). They have Steak on the menu, but are out of steak today. Same for milkshakes. I am hopeful that the food is good. Also, all the outdoor furniture is still in side the restaurant. It is Summer and 2:30pm. The decor is really bad...again this place has certainly changed from decent to awful. I will update this review based on the food....
The burgers were so so good. I got the Firefly and it was amazing. It was actually way better than I expected.
Went here at the Keele Street location for the first time with my son just before catching the Top Gun movie because, why not? We each had the Maverick burger (double patty, cheese, lettuce tomato onion pickle bacon mushroom and fried egg). This was crazy good. Juicy tasty meat, fresh crisp toppings, and a perfect in house made bun. The burger arrived perfect and piping hot. We had a side of bbq seasoned fries that were also good. Two chocolate shakes went down nicely. These are what gourmet burgers should be. I referred to our host and burger chef as an artist. Truly special burgers. Not cheap mind you but on par with any other gourmet burger and tastier than any I have had. Support this place. It rocks.
Really delicious food! Good and fast service.I loveedd the burger and the chicken burger, but the fries wasn’t tasty.Price range ?: $$-Follow me for more reviews ☺️My Instagram: @mortgagebyarghavan
Halal mouthwatering Burgers. In the middle of pandemic, customer service is great. First time trying this place and the burgers were really good, the fries were mediocre. I would totally recommend the this location if you want lots of delicious cheese in addition to the meat, hard to eat but worth it. Awesome experience ?? Will bring more people here next time.
The burger sandwich is juicy and delicious, as well as the fries, plus it's Halal.
The reviews were great, so I was confident that this Kensington market burger joint would be ‘top gun,’ no doubt it! Unfortunately, it was the worst tasting burger I have had in a very long time! :(. The bun; which I was told later by the the manager, had changed suppliers…it was crumbly, just like the burger patty and fell apart after the first bite! The bun tasted horrible.Fries were quite good though, fresh and perfectly crisp.I called the manager who was not willing to compensate me in any way, even though I had a photo to show it was falling apart. He said he would take my comment about switching the bun under advisement. When I emailed the address the website provided about my horrible tasting burger and experience; there was no response.I expected more from both the manager and head office as far as customer satisfaction is concerned! I spent over $40 at this location for 2 burgers that we both partially ate, threw in the garbage, and felt sick from after eating. I would highly recommend bypassing this restaurant and go up the street a bit and get a ‘real burger’ at the ‘Burganator’!
Tried the avengers, dined in and I must say, it was SO good. I literally loved it! The staff as well is so friendly and welcoming, they gave amazing recommendations for their menu as well which made it easier for me to decide what I want to try! Thanks team, top gun burgers!
Burger was ok but it’s too big and sloppy. Just make it normal size and short. Your hands, mouth will get messy and half the burger will fall apart since it’s so tall and likely be trashed. It’s a bit heavy and not healthy to eat often. Add a grilled chicken sandwich to menu. The fries had no salt and were bland.
