I started going to Tiny Cafe over a year ago. Then there was a change of management and the new owners now are a mother and her 2 daughters. At first, their momos were not that great yet but I approached them and gave them honest constructive reviews and they are now my go to MOMO every week. I always go for the Paneer, spinach momo and it never fails me. Those who told people not to come can instead tell the owners their constructive review instead. It's hard enough for small businesses to survive in this city, can we please be kind and give people a chance instead of boycotting/telling people to boycott a restaurant for one bad experience. These are hardworking and kind women. Just a tip for other customers though, the one thing that differentiate this shop from other shops is their chilly, it is homemade and it certainly adds to the taste of the momos.
We are pleased to announce Tiny Cafe as the winner of the 2021 Ayala Momocrawl award for best momo. With fiece compeition from other local momo artists, Tiny Cafe proved its mettle producing the finest, delicitable momo for the 7 judges to indulge in.The momos had an excellent dough to filling ratio which created the perfect gap depth between the dough and filling. The vegeterian momo had a beautifully done tofu filling which provided a very unqiue flavour compared to its competitors. However the real star of the show was the beef momo. Taking advantage of the expertly created gap depth the beef broth filled the momo and created an explosion of flavour on the first bite. The flavour ride did not end there though because Tiny Cafe brought the beef baby. Easily the best and highest quality beef in the competitionJust like how Jordan needed Pippen, these momo are not complete without their sidekick sauces. Wonderfully hot and full of flavour the sauce compliments the momo proving that yes you can improve perfection. It was a tough compeitition but as they say the cream rises to the top and Tiny Cafe has proven to be worthy of the titile of Parkdale Momo King
Very polite, nice and smart employee. Food was very good. Try out the spinach (palak paneer) momo. Would visit Tiny Cafè again. Very accessible and easy to travel. Bus no.47A and 47B go here from lansdowne. Convenient location and easy to travel!
This place used to be great, but we just ordered take out and had a horrible experience. After reading some of the other reviews, I see that the management has changed and that makes a lot of sense. The quality of the momos has gone way down hill. They are filled very loosely and they were all squished. The filling itself was bland. We ordered the two vegan options. One of the momos had beef in it and my boyfriend didn't realize until he bit into it, as it was mixed in with the tofu momos. Unfortunately we won't order from here again.
The owner has changed 6 months ago. Don’t go by the old reviews. The momos as people pointed out in recent reviews are light, bland and tasteless. Try other spots and maybe you’ll find good options. Spinach paneer momos had no paneer. Plus it was all squished.
The owner and management changed months ago. Don’t go by the old reviews. Doesn’t taste nearly the same or as good. Bland taste and loosely made momos
My favourite place for Tibetan food! Really great staff and overall experience
They make great momos and the bubble tea is great. Would advise calling in advance to so they can have your momos ready when you arrive.
The owner has changed. The momos are not the same as before. They are subpar and unpalatable. The new owners also are not very welcoming like the ones before. Shame that this place which used to be amazing has become like this.
The worst experience in Toronto! I went there by driving 40 mins to order food. I tried calling first and no one picked so I drove all the way to order food since the reviews were great. Oh man … i was wrong… I ordered my food and asked for the meat platter and veggies platter. She gave me mized up veggie and meat but only half of it. When i asked her about the remaining she couldnt explain and kept talking in her language. The guy after me came and started talking to her in their language trying to explain her what from the menu and i wanted. Simply wanted a menu item number 7 & 9. I stood there and the lady served the person after me. She doesnt even know her own menu. She then came back with some more momos but not the ones i wanted. When I confronted her about it she took the food away from me and told me she was not going to serve me. I read in some of the previous reviews that management changed but this was next level failure to serve your customers!Never coming back or recommending anyone!
