Went for lunch on a Thursday and it was pretty empty on the main floor. There is an upstairs as well but we didn’t see it. The staff working at the time was extremely friendly and attentive. Super nice!!There is actually a lunch special that’s a pretty decent deal and the food is really nice. One of the nicest things was that the water or any drinks come in a huge measuring cup - kinda coolThe beef patty options are great, I went for the wagyu style but there’s also elk, regular and veggie options too!

Their menu has gotten smaller since our last visit, but the food is still good. The Love Goat Burger is my go-to, and boy is it delicious! Their milkshakes are fabulous as well. Usually it's not overly busy in there and you can enjoy your meal without much noise from people around you.

Really enjoyed my chicken burger (son of a beech) and side Greek salad. Only comment is that the signage on the bathrooms really promotes traditional and sexist gender norms that define women as caregivers, despite the fact that both washrooms have changing tables. Would be a really easy and minor fix to remove the family sign from the womens room, or also add one to the mens.

My first time eating here and it was so yummy. Food was delicious and so fresh. The staff is also so kind and outgoing. I especially appreciate Alessandra !! She was so sweet and so fun it made my order 10x better. Talking to her brighten my day. Love it here !!!

“Gourmet burgers” that cost minimum $20 but the quality is just not worth that price. I ordered the “kobe” burger but doesnt really tastes any different from a regular patty! Both Burgers were too DRY. Server didn’t serve us glass of water even upon asking and forgot to put mushrooms on one of the burgers. They just dont care. Go to other location.

Today is valentines day, the day to eat nom noms with your fav human. We ordered wagu beef, added carmalizrd onion, arugalla on white bun was really good. Also got a 3 onion ring with sautea mushrooms with BBQ sauce. I must say I didn't taste BBQ sauce so they may have only put a sprinkle or none (I never looked) it was so good tho. The sauce not too bad size either.the big tot is actually sooo good too

Really cool feel to the restaurant - good ambience, menu, niche serving methods (the water mugs, light bulbs for the salt-and-pepper, etc). Tried the Elk on the Beech burger and it was fantastic, definitely one of the strongest burgers in terms of flavor compared to other burger joints. The spicy chips thing was probably my favourite side (compared to the regular fries, sweet potato fries or poutine), so I definitely recommend those. Some of us were vegetarian and they have TONS of options for vegetarians which was a very pleasant surprise. Highly recommended!

I ordered take out from this place and never again . Very disappointed about this location . I love the works , I’ve tried different places around Ottawa and this was my first time in Toronto . My burger was very dry .I got the sum yung guy my go-to always !!!… to start the cream cheese was just a dry crust (very gross). When I was eating I turned the burger around and it looks like the bread was almost moldy , I thought it was maybe just a bit burned but the more I see it it does look like mold. The fries were OLD , but they did not taste like Yesterday OLD , it tasted like 2-3 days old and re-heated like 2 times already . Now I’m just hoping I don’t get food poisoning from this place …and after reading a few reviews, I see I’m not the only one who has had this experience from this place. Save your money go somewhere else.

Endless options, so it is what you make of it.You're a lot better off ordering in person or over the phone as you can customize your burger any which way that you want. It's a bit harder to grasp this concept when trying to pick from their menu on a food delivery app. Not the same.If you want a burger and you have a very good idea of what you'd like to see put on it, then this is the place for you. You call the shots. Just remember that more is not always better when it comes to topping your burger. From a purely physics stand-point there's only so much surface area and space to hold all the toppings in place between your burger and the bun.

Love going to The Works - staff are very friendly and quick. Good place to grab a great tasting burger in a large variety of configurations. Fries are tasty but their onion rings are *chef kiss* ?
