Waiters weren't engaging, seemed too serious. Teas all seemed weak except one Chai Masala. Maybe less water in pot or more leaves. One lady in room was talking too loud annoying. Other than that fabulous and we will return.
The Windsor Arms is a beautiful hotel with a charming Tea Room experience. Beautiful food presentation and tasty teas, it was a lovely afternoon spent in a quiet pocket of Yorkville. My only complaint would be the price. It was raised from what was advertised on the website, likely because we went on a long weekend. That being said, we did get a âcomplementaryâ glass of champagne, which might be why the price was so much higher? All in all a great experience.
For the high tea, a few more savory items would have been good, especially for the price. But overall a good experience.
We were in Toronto for a short holiday and enjoyed the tea and food very much!
An elegant, first class experience. Delicious and my vegan version of high tea was excellent too.
Considering this is rated âthe bestâ tea service in Toronto, I would not say it was over the top and out of this world. The food was ok, meager servings for $100 per person. The hotel is old, washrooms weâre not clean, I was expecting more. Overall it was fine.
Cousins lunch
It was fine. We got a lecture from the manager about not sharing The high tea platter, which we found mildly offensive as we have high tea all the time and had no intention of doing that.
they were able to accommodate our daughter's allergies so it was a wonderful experience for her. We had a great time.
- Service excellent; however, server not very knowledgeable about the teas - Dairy free options very poor - scones inedible - for cost. -Invest in veganaise and vegan cheese to provide better quality sandwiches. - jams on table were tasteless. For the price, we expected a selection of delicious jams and fresh clotted cream
