Normally I order from Kristapson's. They were out of stock last time I wanted to order, so I ordered from Smoke Bloke. The Atlantic smoked salmon has a different texture to Kristapson's Coho salmon.. I thoroughly enjoyed the salmon. Not too salty, like a lot of frozen smoked salmon, and sliced a little thicker for a more satisfying mouth feel. Ultimately I can't decide on a favorite. No matter what your traditional preference is - order both.
The Smoke Bloke makes THE best classic signature smoked salmon. What we like about it versus all other smoked salmon is that it doesn't taste too salty. There is also no white stringy connective tissue that you find often in others' smoked salmon. Very high quality and perfectly smoked, feels like it melts in your mouth. They deliver free with a minimum order. I'd recommend getting the 1-lb signature cold smoked salmon.
Did a Google search for smoked salmon east York, and bloke came up! I am super happy he did! Dropped in for some smoked salmon to surprise my wife with Salmon Eggs Benedict on her birthday and she and I agree its the best smoked salmon we have ever had!
So delicious...the whitefish and the cod were fantastic. the website was easy to use and order and the delivery was within a few days. the delivery person even called to say they would be arriving in 20 minutes...great service and great products
Great quality product that is fresh and flavourful. We love the portioned salmon and the variety of smoked fish. The owner is friendly and takes pride in the product. We discovered the Smoke Bloke at a local farmers market, and are so happy we can continue to order online with delivery. 100% recommend.
Awesome smoked fish. So lucky to find this so close to home as well. Great experience with ordering, fast response, excellent quality and fair price. Didn't get a chance to experience all the varieties purchase as some were for gifts. However the scotch smoked salmon and black cod were among the best I have tasted! Keep up the great work.
This is the best salmon I've ever had. Smoky flavor and amazing texture!I always enjoy a bagel sandwich, hand roll and salad....it makes me happy all that time.My co workers became big fans of his salmon.Also Mike is a very nice person and helped people donate food and money during the pandemic even though he lost regular clients.I love his personality and his high quality products.
Best smoked salmon I've had. Got a 2lb platter for a party and it went fast. Love that their signature flavor is not salty. Highly recommend!
Excellent products. We really like the cold smoke products. Much better than getting the frozen smoked salmon from the grocery store. Much better than Kristapsons smoked salmon and more reasonably priced and more varieties. The beet and horseradish and the scotch smoked are fantastic. It is something we have been ordering for a while as it is consistently better than the other smoked salmons out there and priced well.
