A non ostentatious place. Home made fries and burger pates. Reasonably priced and quality is decent. Recommended if you are hungry and in the hood.Update= the prices have gone up ( about $2 per burger ). The quality is a bit lacking. Now prefer making my own burger at home. Not worth it.
Great char grilled burgers. Everything tastes fresh and delicious. Staff are also extremely friendly. I had the mojo burger fully loaded and it was a great meal.
Homeburger with cheese was great. Pizza was simple and tasty. Poutine needed more gravy. Great meal.
Just had our first pizza at The Real McCoy. It was the best pizza I've ever had. The ingredients were fresh and the dough was so tasty. The price was good too. We've bought burgers here for years. They are always so good but we've never tried their pizza. Well, I highly recommend it. Fries are very good also.Keep up the good work guys. It's always a treat to get a burger or pizza at The Real McCoy.

We LOVE the Greek Salad at The Real McCoy. So much that we got a supersize one for my sons birthday party. Look at the excitement in his face! Thanks to George and the team at our favourite joint, The Real McCoy!
When I walked in for the first I knew right away there was a history of great food behind this establishment. I ordered the chicken burger with fries and gravy. The wait wasn't bad considering the number of customers lined up outside the door waiting. When I was called for my topping choices and was disappointed to see them place what appeared to be a frozen chicken patty on the bun. I assumed that since the burger meat was grilled with fresh ground beef they would be grilling chicken breast. I guess that's not the case. When I ate it, it was barely warm and tasted mediocre at best. My review is only based on their chicken burger but it's obvious that they are known for their beef burgers and other food options which looked and smelled delicious!
Scarborough watch out because the Real McCoy is amazing! My 7 year old son has a class after school in the area and we have been coming weekly for dinner. Staff are friendly and kind and talked to my son while our food was being prepared. Definitely recommend this place, delicious food and amazing staff. Best place for pizza and burgers in Scarborough, next week we try fish and chips!Ps. “I’d reckon this place is the best place to eat in Scarborough” -7 year old

Amazing friendly service. The pizza was great. I know everyone loves the burgers and onion rings but I was a bit underwhelmed. Still worth trying for yourself. It is a Scarborough institution so they must be doing something right.
